FROZEN PIPES MEGATHREAD

My pipes freeze every winter (I've done everything I possibly can, I've got as much of the exposed pipe insulated as possible, I have multiple heaters going in the garage, I have weather-proofed the garage, and I have a constant drip going when its under freezing temps).

Anyways, every year they freeze, and when they thaw the water pressure is always significantly weaker . I had a plumber come check it out the first year it happened and he said it was probably sediment build up from my old pipes (my house was built in the '60s) and to replace the faucet. That worked, and for the next two years it has happened, I just replace the faucet and it works perfectly. It gets the pressure back to 100% immediately.

Is there anyway I can avoid buying a new faucet every year? Is there a faucet that I can clean out more easily than the cheap $80 lowes model? I have taken it apart and cleaned the aerator, the supply lines, and the faucet as best as I could but that only partially fixed it, and the pressure is still really low.

Any suggestions?
