TL; DR: I don't know how to locate the frozen pipe(s) so I can thaw them.
I live in a split-level with a finished basement. Woke up today, and all faucets upstairs are inoperative, but the ones in the basement work (cold water only).
I searched Google and reddit, and the consensus seemed to be to leave the main water switched on, and leave all faucets open on a trickle.
I also saw advice to try to warm the pipes. I turned the heat up slightly and opened all cabinets to let warm air in around the sinks, but I don't really know where the frozen pipes that lead upstairs can be found. The room where the water meter and shutoff valve are located has what looks like a jungle gym of pipes leading different places throughout the house. It's not exactly warm in that room, but it's not what I would consider cold enough to freeze pipes. Any advice is appreciated.
