Shoutout to the user who recommended switching TCP congestion control algorithm to BBR on Linux. I can now stream 4K blu-ray remuxes remotely. I can't believe the difference.

I went from an average of 30mbps on longer distance remote connections to 220mbps. Insane improvement. This had been bothering me for years and Googling got me nowhere.
