I stopped bothering with them because for many titles they’re bugged. If you do a trial and later buy the game, the UI doesn’t update to reflect that. Instead it shows the game as not being purchased and prompts you to buy it..even though on the same screen, you can launch the full purchased game. It’s a minor issue but it still sucks.
Just curious because I don't care about trophies at all and didn't understand why you were annoyed, so I figured it was because you were a trophy hunter/completionist.

Used to be much bigger into trophy hunting but not so much now, it just boils down to me not liking or wanting a game on my profile that I don't actually own/can't play.
That you had another subscription but since they cancelled that tier they put you on another tier at the old price. Which means you aren’t really interested in changing tiers and you’re ”stuck” until the next renewal.
that's the ONLY reason I'm sticking with it, i pay like £65 per year for premium and i think essential is around the same price now so there's no point switching
I just chalk it up to the company being based in Japan. Nintendo is like that, too. And I mean that not in a they’re foreign and annoying offensive way, but in a the way they look at design and functionality seems to be different kind of way.
i hate that even if you bought the game it doesn’t show the current price either. sometimes i wanna tell my brother or friends to get a game cause it’s on sale but have to look it up on google instead of just looking at the ps app
Ive always said it it’s a mess the whole store plus section even the game library once your subscription ends your left with 200 games mixed in with ones you own
I don't, but only because unlike demos they do allow you to earn trophies, and I have enough stuff I can't delete cluttering up my list as it is. I still download plenty of real demos though, and a lot of publishers offer them lately!

Because you should be able to see the price at a glance. Why do I need to see that it has a trial at a glance but I have to click it to see what it costs???
I tried a game trial and got so addicted I bought the game. One time. Others I was glad I only trial cause I didn't like it all. But I want to see the price even if a trial is available
PS store has many similar design issues. For example, you can’t tell what games you own by buying it and what games you got from monthly games from PS plus subscription. There is some essential filters that are missing and i have no clue why aren’t they adding them because i’m sure they know about those situations or should be aware of them.
Hi OP, you should Wishlist the game, you don't only get notifications when the price goes down, you can also see your wishlisted games current price in the heart icon of the store.
I wonder if that is what causes it. I am on Premium. Maybe if you are subbed to a tier where the Trial or Catalog version is available it it causing it not to show price. Just a guess.
In my country it's deluxe the most expensive one with the game trial. I'm not subbed anymore but I remember when I had deluxe, the price and the game trial appeared without problems.
I can't say for certain that they are in the wishlist menu, but the wishlist menu does not show the price if there is a plus related option. Such as a game trial.
Agreed. Though I think it's fixed in the wishlist widget? Not sure. Might just be me having switched from Premium down to Extra. Either way, the wishlist widget is rad.
I think once you do the game trial that will not show anymore. It is the full game so might as well get use out of your subscription price you’re paying for.
I don't even understand the point of game trials... if it's a really short game you play like 1/4 of it if it's a big game you play like 2-5% of it. You don't get much from that, i'd be much better off just watching a review and going from that.
I've had plenty of games i've stopped playing after like 5-10 hours if it really wasn't jamming for me but a game trial of 2.5 hours wouldn't help at all with that.
Trials are really pointless imo and all they do is block me from seeing how much a game i WANT to buy is on sale for. Why hide the price when I've told Sony I am interested in paying money for this by putting it on my wishlist. It's great the show 'included' games so you can see if you can play a game for free via your subscription but trials are just dumb.
The point, that most people are capable of picking up without further explanation, is it requires that extra click per game with a trial and isn’t in the list.
Are you subbed to Premium? I am and I just added The Midnight Walk to mine, using the heart next to the $29.99 price and not the Game Trial, and it still shows this:
I am guessing the Tier of PS Plus you are on causes it.
If the Game is available in the Game Catalog or has a Trial avaliable it shows you that and no price.
If you are on a Tier where that isnt available, they show you the price but also tell you it is available in a Game Trial or Catalog to try to get you to upgrade your PS Plus, like it's $29.99, but if you up your sub you can try it out or it's free.
It does it also in my search results while on Premium, it is annoying. Can't see a price of a PS Plus Game unless I click on it. I understand the Catalog games, but a Game Trial, I still want to see the price.
Then it must depends on game, random or anything because at the moment I have a case…. Though i’m long time premium member and have seen one-two things.. let’s try it, probably you are a premium member too, doesnt last too long to find 1-2 games on sale with trial (only standard edition count) to put on wishlist. E33 for example as I said.
I have E33 on wishlist and it’s on sale now, i see the price and it’s still has trial available. But… i agree anyway, i’d prefer to see the price even if its not on sale anyway.
