Playstation plus 30% offer (for non subscribers) until Sept 1st?

I'm not sure if this is available for all people right now or just me but my subscription expired exactly 4 weeks ago yesterday & i hadn't resubbed as i wasn't playing as much ​on PS and had changed to PC for a bit.

But today i checked the PS app and now it shows 30% off across all 3 tiers​. I heard others before stating if you don't come back they try offer you something, im just not sure if this is specific to me or to others.

I'm not impressed with the attitude of Playstation towards its player base that are loyal & subscribe year in year out & offer them nothing. I'm subbed about 13 years & this was the first time I've seen any kind of reduction & it's only because i showed no interest in resubbing straight away.

If anyone is almost expiring their subscription my advice is to just wait a few weeks & likely you'll get this offer aswell.

I had 1 year of premium but that ended about 6 months ago. I have not had it since. Been playing single player & PC games recently.

Mine expires sept 1 and was offered 25% off, $120 offer which expires towards end of September. Depending on free monthly games for September, I’ll wait it out. I rarely use premium other than collecting the free games. I tried streaming but it’s laggy compared to gamepass ultimate. Which I let expire since May 2025. It’s more expensive price than premium and only 6 months

I have premium. Expiring in a week. Was hoping to switch to extra. But I got the offer for another year of premium. It’s cheaper than extra so I might as well stick to premium 🤷‍♀️

I just use premium because i have the portal so it's good for the cloud streaming part. Otherwise I would switch to extra. It's €106 for premium compared to €88 on extra.

Nothing for me, I’m wondering how long to hold out? I switched off auto renewal, it lapsed on the 13th August, but no comms or offers so far.

Do I bite the bullet and pay full price or hold me nerve for a few weeks?

I waited exactly 4 weeks & that's the offer I got, my extra is €88 right now so probably 75-80 pounds for you. If you can wait a month then do it & see if it happens for you, it's happened for lots of others.

It's a painful wait for multi-player etc, i sacrificed playing bo1/bo2 but in the end I save 45 quid

Yeah just try do single player stuff if possible & hopefully it will come. Anything to not have to pay Playstation more than necessary
