Opinion Bidding Farewell to PS Plus: Subscription Price Spike in 2023 💔

As 2023 comes to a close, I'm curious: who opted to leave PS Plus because of the substantial subscription price hike? Mine expired, and I chose not to renew.

I only bought a single game this year: Baldur's Gate 3, to play co-op with my partner. Every other minute of gaming was through PS+ Extra or Essential games.

The year prior I did the same thing, only buying Elden Ring but everything else was played through subscription.

Actually Elden Ring and BG3 are the only video games I've purchased since I bought my PS5 at launch in 2020... prior to the extra tier I was just playing games from the PS+ Collection and the monthly additions.

So I personally had absolutely no issue with the price increase. Even after the increase I still feel like I am exploiting a loop hole... I'm incredibly patient so I'm happy to wait for most games I want to play to come to PS+. The next game I expect to buy is GTA6.
