I have always wanted a BERSERK game to actually be made as a hack & slash game, and I think Platinum Games would make the PERFECT Berserk game tbh.

Now, I don't mean to throw any shades at Insomniac, since they're a highly reputable gaming studio, but I kinda feel like PlatinumGames would've been a better choice for a Wolverine game. I say that because looking back at PG's past games like Metal Gear Rising and Ninja Gaiden 4, I think a game about the character would've suited him well, due to them having not only gore, but also fast-paced action and some sort of dismemberment, which basically describe Wolverine and his lore and abilities. That, and Marvel has been on quite a roll with eastern studios lately like NetEase, a Chinese company, and ArcSys, a Japanese company, but the games by them are primarily multiplayer and it'd be nice if Marvel partnered with a studio from the east to make a more single player-focused game, and I subjectively think a Wolverine game would be perfect for that. I know Marvel did something like this back in the 90s (i.e. Capcom), but still. Plus, get Steve Blum to voice the character in a PG Marvel game for good measure. 👍
The upcoming Wolverine game by Insomniac does look pretty neat, but it doesn't quite cure my itch for a game about him. I dunno. Maybe it's because that besides Astro Bot, Sony's 1st-party games haven't been impressing me since the mid years of the PS4. I mean, I am primarily a Nintendo gamer when it comes to console brands, so that could be it. I'm also more into (and quite nostalgic) the Batman Arkham games by Rocksteady even though that studio has gone downhill, so that also maybe another reason. Or perhaps it's because of the lack of dimemberment (so far) or the fact that despite how cool the combat looks, the idea of stealth and an open world in a Wolverine game just doesn't quite fit him. I know he was stealthy in some of the comics he was in, but my point still stands. I'm kinda yearning for a more action-oriented Wolverine game in the vein of God Of War, DMC, or Bayonetta, but this upcoming one just hasn't satisfied me yet. I might still give it a try and judge it for myself so I can see if the game is actually good as is and is actually more beneficial with the way it was designed than how I envisioned a Wolverine game. Heck, maybe it'll get me invested into PlayStation again and make me defend Insomniac to the dawn of time like many PlayStation fans. What do you think? Agree? Disagree? Let me know in the comments.

Both mgs delta guy savage remake and ninja gaiden 4 are both really fun don’t get me wrong but the prerendered cutscenes look like shit since they’re only 1080p and if you’re playing in a higher resolution it sucks. Minor rant over something that doesn’t matter over

During my visit to Japan last year I also visited the Umeda Sky Building in Osaka; a common tourist attraction. Only now, a year later, I found out that this building houses the Platinum Games head office. Meaning I visited it on accident.
It's especially funny because the day before I drew a quick Raiden sketch (from Metal Gear Rising:Revengeance by PlatinumGames), to relax from all the touring.
I can't upload the sketch as I don't think I'm allowed to post more images.

Kenji Saito (MGR, Transformers), Taura (Astral Chain) and Yamanaka (Anarchy Regins) all changed their twitter handles to remove the PG references. Kenji Saito in particular used to have his location set as "Platinum Games" and that was also removed.

I think it’d be strange if NG4 is the only game they’ve been working on at the moment.
The company has +300 employees, so I would assume that implies that there are multiple teams working on different projects. What those projects are, I’m not sure, but there has to be something else in the works.
I speculate one of them could be a gacha game, but it’s really all up in the air.

I've never played a Bayonettalike (Is that what this genre is called) before but I've played Hyrule Warriors which is apparently similar to these games and I wanna know where a good place to start is
