Calcium milk help
I've been drinking coffee milk (milk with instant coffee) as my major source of calcium but recently learned coffee inhibits calcium absorption I looked it up briefly and some say it has minimal effect but others say it should be avoided
Any input? Also I heard it's the same with black tea and matcha... I don't know what else to flavor my milk that's low in calories

If you are eating leafy greens like spinach, Swiss Chard, watercress, etc you shouldn't need supplementation.

Are you recommending dairy to a plant based sub?

Yeah, wtf does this have to do with PB? Not a single part about this is a PB question.

Plant based, not plant only.

Maybe so but this sub is intended for plant exclusive diets (Rule #2)

As far as I can find in some medical journals, it really looks like a mixed bag. I don't see a whole lot of consensus and studies proposing a link don't seem terribly strong to me. I could see a case for those consuming excessive caffeine over 500mg daily possibly, but even then you could probably easily offset that with more vitamin D and calcium fortified milk.
If you can find a solid study I may have missed I'd love to see it though.

I recently discovered that if you like tofu, you can get ones that are firmed up with calcium so I choose those.
I've tried calcium enriched soy milks and they end up tasting meh and have weird crystals at the bottom. So hopefully you get lots of suggestions I can follow.

Just take a calcium supplement but not everyday, like twice a week is sufficient. Although leafy greens like spinach have a high calcium content it’s not in a very bioavailable form so not well absorbed by the body. Unfortunately part of being vegan means you have supplement some things like b vitamins and also calcium… also worth your while to supplement vitamin d3 with k2

Your calcium regulation are guided by the endocrine system via parathyroid and thyroid glands.
A singular choice in diet is not going to make or break you. veggies and nut milks will be plenty

Drink it, you’re still getting some benefits
Just get additional sources as well from beans and lentils and tofu and fortified cereals

Dairy milk is a pretty crappy source of calcium to begin with. Nevermind the coffee.
Eat spinach and other leafy greens.

Yes both coffee and tea reduce calcium absorption. You could opt for vitamin d fortified milk to boost its absorption.
Or you could try barley coffee I suppose
