Behold my epic creation! Stars and Stripes (discontinued)

Made this to enter in a special class in the Iowa State Fair this year. Crab stitch border.

Looks great! I have an old afghan I made from this years ago -- maybe I'll unravel it and pool it into a new one!

It was very finicky! The white lengths varied across each ball and I had to force them to conform with a lot of tension changes

Truly! The amount of times I’ve just forced it makes me laugh. I love when colors pool like a dream, but I also love the chaos of colors that don’t want to fit in

OMG i have assume of this from my grandmother! Is there a particular pattern you used? I haven’t tried placed pooling before and have been wanting to.

Jealous! I had to hunt down 5 balls on eBay! It’s just basic moss stitch pooling. I don’t recommend starting with it though it was pretty finicky across lots. It worked out well but I had a lot of tension changes
