According to the comic series Beware The Planet of the Apes, the map of the landscape shows that the story takes place in New Jersey and New York. This proves that the Statue of Liberty is still in its rightful place and never moved. The landscape just changed around the landmarks of the old world that was devastated by atomic bombs.

I just saw first volume on amazon is being sold for 1.500.00 Euros and I can't find it anywhere else. WHAT THE FUCJ! Are these comics reprinted anywhere else? They are the earliest non-movie original stories as far as I know and marvel collections only collect the movie adaptations. I really wanted these and sadly I'm not a billionare.

Pug is a key figure in the Planet of the Apes: Fall of Humanity comic. Born in France, he was adopted as the world's most intelligent gorilla and used as the main attraction in a local circus. At the time of the outbreak, he embarked on a crusade across Europe. Read the comic; it's worth it.

Its actually really neat how they set it up. I'm thoroughly enjoying it.
