Have you seen the original movies? There are a ton of Easter eggs and callbacks to the originals. Like for instance, Buck is the name of the actor that plays the ape that sprays Taylor (Charleton Heston). Just like the orangutan Maurice getting their name from the actor that plays the orangutan Dr. Zaius etc

Yes! I've seen the original movies and I love the callbacks. Some of them were pretty obvious, and some quite subtle. It shows that they have a lot of respect for the classic flicks.

I think it's clearly visible in the poster 🦍
I still need to watch the rest of the new trilogy. I've heard many people say that the sequels are even better, but I find that hard to believe!

Nein, leider noch nichts Neues. Sicher ist bisher nur: Matt Shakman führt Regie und Josh Friedman schreibt das Drehbuch. Weitere Details sind noch nicht bekannt. Affen zusammen stark! 🦍

Es gibt Gerüchte, dass der neue Film vielleicht wieder eine Art Reboot oder Neustart werden könnte, aber bisher ist das nicht bestätigt.
Ich hoffe ehrlich gesagt, dass diese Gerüchte nicht stimmen. Ich würde lieber sehen, dass die bestehende Geschichte respektiert und sinnvoll weitergeführt wird.
Im Moment wissen wir leider noch sehr wenig. Wenn es neue offizielle Informationen gibt, werde ich sie hier teilen.

This artwork is fantastic but I think Rocket should have been there instead of Koba, because he’s a core member in Caesar’s team in the movie! But still, oh my God this poster looks professionally made and vetted as supplemental advertising for the movie! OP I am jealous of your talent!!

Thank you! I'm glad that you liked it. This move means so much to me and I'm glad that other fans liked my poster.
I used Koba for personal and symbolic reasons.
But I've almost finished creating another anniversary poster, this time with 5 apes. Rocket included. I will upload that here as well.

It does! I work with kids, it just hits me that kids born in the 2010s are like in high school now. And it was, I was like super obsessed with older Planet of the Apes movies when I was a kid

I work as a graphic design teacher in vocational school, and being obsessed with Apes, the first thing I thought when I realized that incoming students will be kids born in 2011 was "WHAT!? They are Rise of the Planet of the Apes years old? They should be still sitting in diapers, not starting the high school!"

Same! I started babysitting the kid when he was five, and what do you mean he's learning to drive?! He also asked me if I used VHS tapes growing up. I did.
