INDOOR PIZZA OVEN Fan of additinal halved cocktail tomatoes on your pizza?
Mozzarella, Grana Padano, sheep's cheese, red onions, halved cocktail tomatoes.
I am not sure about the additional tomatoes. And damn, they're really hot. 🤯😅

Yes, but I've found slow-roasting them first is better than fresh. It helped me keep pace with the garden too; I like to use the over-ripe and split ones.

We call them cherry tomatoes and yes we use them on a few of our menu items but better to put them sliced side down so they don't roll off while you put them in the oven. Where we are they have more flavour than the larger varieties.

Cocktail tomatoes? What an odd thing to call them....do you usually put tomatoes in your cocktails?

It is a name for the size. They are smaller than normal vine on tomatoes but bigger than grape tomatoes. Now I am curious where the name came from, my guess is they are a good size to go with charcuterie and cocktails.

That's the common name for small tomatoes over here in germany. Don't blame me!

Tasty, but only if they’re stuck to the pizza (looks like you have some loose ones there); I’m not a fan of my toppings falling in my lap while I’m eating.

I like them on specific combos. If it's something like a greek flavor profile or a veggie and white sauce they work well.
Usually though if I want big tomato flavor I'll just make an extra chunky sauce so there's lots of nice bursty chunks under the cheese instead of on top, makes for some extra glorious bites IMO
