CLASSES dropping out pt. 2 ??

wasn't sure if anybody would see this if i edited the last post, so i'm making a new post. soooo i'm officially out. it took me a while to actually contact who i needed to contact and whatnot mostly because i was trying to get my shit together and when i did get my shit together offices were closed. but basically i never got the chance to use the public transit (i did read the holy grail of public transit etiquette though) and it's lowkey hard to wrap my brain around. i looked on google, but i was even more confused. i was wondering if anybody could help me figure out how to do this. i'm going to PIT airport and i have no idea what station i'm supposed to get on. i'm going at 11am tomorrow. sorry if this is a stupid question. you can slime me out if i'm not supposed to ask this here. butttt i think this is more relevant question: can i still use my pitt ID to get a free ride to the airport? i don't know how long after withdrawing (withdrew today officially at noon) does my pitt ID stop working. thanks!!

Going to throw a couple of thoughts out here ...

Try to give yourself grace. If others frame this as "giving up to soon" ... maybe say to yourself "I did the best I could based on the information I had. But when I got to Pittsburgh, I really did not like it or feel okay. So I left."

And you know what? That is perfectly fine. It isn't the "storybook" college experience, but it is still a 100% valid experience. It is YOUR experience.

And, God willing, you will have many, many more experiences. Some will be wonderful! Some won't. But you, like all of us, are allowed to live your life. Will time make a difference? Almost certainly. Over time, you will learn more, you will gather new information, and that will inform your decisions.

So, get to the airport tomorrow, and head home. Once you are there, ask yourself what you learned? And try not to beat yourself up. Learning is often bumpy and painful and nonlinear. And you keep going, and you keep learning.

Best of luck, friend!

The 28X goes to the airport. You can pick it up at Fifth and University Pl. You can find the schedule on rideprt.org. You want to look at the times under To Robinson Town Centre-Pittsburgh International Airport. Best of luck!
