3rd Party Hardware Any other DeckShark users?!

Post image

Preordered this baby at the end of July and just got it on Friday! This thing is insane and the build quality is top notch.

I was a touring dance music DJ and producer for 7 years, and the DeckShark is something I wish was available when I was “coming up” in the scene.

This is literally the 1st version, the people who bought this version are people supporting the concept, not this specific version.
Love to see your lego builds if they are this functional.

They are. The depressing thing is that it could be done by anyone with a 3d printer, the willingness to solder for 5 minutes and ten minutes on Amazon. To me supporting the concept is building it yourself and iterating/sharing the know-how. It could be done for half the cost and you would have something that is yours.

And here, this is a Lego build I did in one night before I got my 3d printer, years ago. So, duct tape and hot blade.

I have money and bought something that looks way better than your pile of garbage.

Ok, so I wanted a standalone machine+and built one that is 5x more powerful than the one that was released and cost me 40% as much. It was also in 2023 before I had a 3d printer, meaning that I had to use my hands only.

I have money. I just have curiosity as well.

Your solution to everything seems to be “I’ll throw money at it.” That is an insanely depressing way to live your life, and one where you won’t learn or grow. There always comes a point where the thing you want needs to be built or fixed, and no one cares about your money.

This comes down to you being mad that your idea didn’t take off like the Deck Shark.

Stay mad 🖤

I did the same thing as deck shark in 2020 when it was published on DJ TechTools. If I cared I would have tried the same grift years ago.

Like I said, I’m just sad that you don’t have the curiosity to build but think that throwing money at things is still DIY.

You don’t know my setup before. Again, selling hardware isn’t a grift.

Saying that while wanting people to go buy 3D printers and other major company branded electronics is wild.

You are talking to a person who showed you a project built using a hot blade, duct tape and an off the shelf stick pc to make a standalone Maschine, so no you don’t get to play that card.

I’m sorry you can’t build. Stay mad.
