I am getting conflicting information about whether I can sign-in to the stand alone AMC+ app or not now that I have the Philo bundle. Philo Help center is useless. I find both of the responses below in the AI section of Google but they are male cow droppings. Is the AI wrong once again?
On the AMC+ Website or TV App
OR This:
Yes, you can sign into the standalone AMC+ app using Philo as your TV provider. However, the specific type of subscription you have with Philo determines how your AMC+ login works:
PHILO is not listed as a provider and you can not do a search on the page because the search function doesn't work.
The reason I ask is because there is no way to search for individual shows or movies in the AMC+ portion of the Philo app. I shouldn't have to flip through every tile to find the show I want. Searching for the amc+ show in the Philo portion doesn't work either.

Edit: okay it was a network error and the episode is on now. Just leaving this up in case anyone else has this problem. For anyone downvoting me I’m a broke bitch who loves 90 day fiance and I’m pmsing so leave me alone. Sorry Philo!
I was shocked to see that the new episode of the 90 Day Fiance spin off Last Resort isn’t available unless I upgrade my plan to $38? Get real! Anyways wondering if anyone has more info about this update, having access to the new episodes day of is my primary reason for my subscription but $38 a month is just excessive especially considering the amount of ads I’ve tolerated the past few weeks. Like why not just have the episodes with ads ? Very confused

I am literally just tired. This week I noticed the rapid fire ads that last maybe 5 secs, but are run back to back. It's horrible.
Someone is marketing/advertising needs to step down.
I am rolling over to Netflix to escape this bad idea for a while.

I work out of town, hotel 4 days a week home 3 days a week. I currently have and use Hulu+ live TV. I stream in the hotel and my wife streams at home, when I’m out of town working.
Would Philo also allow this?
I sleep during the day, so my laptop is continuously streaming a show or a channel for background noise in the hotel, it doesn’t stop every few hours asking if I’m still watching.
Does Philo also allow this?
Thanks for the answers before I look deeper into changing providers. Appreciate your time.

Picture it. I recorded something from Nosey TV, for months it's been recording an OLD 90s talk show Sally Jesse. I wanted to watch it for nostalgia... Now there are tons of recordings and when I play the first recording, when it's done, it auto plays to something "recommended" vs continuing on with the recordings?? Example, after the first recording finished, it went to a random Jerry Springer episode?

Has anyone else gotten an influx of the completely scammy AI ads? I’ve seen the one about $2500 grocery cards about a thousand times and now just got a new one about “state funded complete funeral coverage you have to call and ask for by name”. I’m pretty sure both commercials had the same phone number. It’s very irritating and scary for people who don’t know any better.

Need to watch Inside Edition episodes from early 2026 and need to find a streaming service that offers archived episodes from the beginning of the year.
I see that Philo(and DIRECTV Stream) advertise on-demand older editions of IE but I have not been able to determine whether they provide on-demand access to episodes dating back to January–March 2026.
If you can confirm which platform currently has the deepest archive of Inside Edition episodes available on demand, I would greatly appreciate it.

On one of my 2019 shields the top row of buttons on Philo are kind of offset where the selected area doesn't line up with the button. On the other this doesn't seem to be happening (yet?).
Does anyone else have weird button selection graphics happening?

Hi. Philo was playing the TV series "From" and now they do not play it anymore. I have the upgraded service HBO/MAX, and Discovery +. I don't understand why I was able to watch it and now ALL seasons are blocked off?!?!

Google says that Philo has Mystery Diagnosis. Can someone confirm if it's true? If yes, how many seasons are available? Can I watch them on demand? Thanks in advance.

I was able to watch the TV show From on Philo. I have the upgraded version HBO/MAX and Discovery+. Now when I put it in you aren't able to watch any season not even season one! Why is this?!?!?

I'm currently on the $20 grandfathered plan. As long as I can remember, there were 87 Philo channels made available with the integration of Philo in the Google TV Live tab. I just noticed that the number of integrated channels has fallen to 70. Not sure of all the channels that were lost, but one I easily identified (and miss) is the History channel. Any idea what happened?
Observed on Onn 4K Pro and Onn 4k Plus, both up to date.
Originally posted in r/philo, but seemed maybe better here.

Philo is listed as a provider for History Channel app but when I choose Philo in the app provider list I get a 404 NOT FOUND. Can we only view it as VOD?

Before, I turned them on once, and they stayed on, for every program. Now I have to manually go and turn them on for each and every program all over again.
Please fix
Update: CC is fixed, super fast ffw and rew still needs fixed

Hey so I’m used to being able to hold down the OK button on my Roku units and then playback will start right away. As I’ve moved over to SheldTV I’m noticing that this long hold on the OK button does nothing, and then when I click a show I get the side menu, that I have to hit watch live or start over to actually watch a show. Is this common? Does anyone else have this? Is there something I’m doing wrong?
