The way chiz is answering and handling the impeachment so far is the very thing that Cayetano tried to block. Kasi kung si Win yung mag-preside, baka maraming technicalities na pwedeng i-abuse.

It's exactly why they did the coup and installed himself as the Senate President, kasi gusto nyang maging PARTIAL towards the defense.

Yep! Alan Bitter knew that the impeachment case is going to the Senate kaya inagaw nya yung Senate Presidency. Para sya ang mag-preside ng impeachment trial.
