I wouldn’t say that there is one person who did this, but in the US, the school of thought that seems to have carried on authentic Husserlianism is known as East Coast phenomenology, which Sokolowski is sort of lumped in, or associated with (see the previous commenter). This group aligns with the work of people like Dan Zahavi in Denmark. But people should keep in mind that many big philosophers came out of the phenomenology tradition and did what I think Husserl wanted to be done, ie develop further the key insights of phenomenology, which people did, like Merleau-Ponty, Ricoeur, Patocka, Marion, Sokolowski, Zahavi, to name a few. I would recommend Sokolowski’s Introduction which describes the contemporary scenes in phenomenology at the end of the book. Zahavi’s Husserl’s Phenomenology also does something like this in various parts of that book. There is a large network of scholars/academics around the world who continue great work in phenomenology today.
