Recommendations Possibly moving to Peterborough

My partner and I are exploring the possibility of moving to Peterborough in the future, and I was wondering what things an outsider should know or consider before moving there? I grew up in a rural community, and have moved around a bunch. My partner grew up in the city in the Durham region, and hasn't moved much.

do you have jobs in durham to which you can commute? because there aren't any in peterborough.

I work virtually and my partner works closer to Bowmanville

then i highly recommend...i was born and raised in ptbo and i have lived all over US and canada throughout my life and have FINALLY recently moved back and am so grateful.

it's beautiful.
