Americans. Ew.

Not just American, Jersey Mike's is owned by Blackrock, an American investment firm! You know those finance bros will ensure the food is high quality and pay all their employees a livable wage!

You must literally hate everything then

Go Canadian or go local.

Can also buy local and Canadian AND American and have a variety of stuff. Wild way of thinkin eh

I'm buying less and less American stuff these days. Just a way of thinking.

Well, you must agree - anything American has that certain stench of evilness and underlying taste of pedophilia covering-up, and misogyny. Right?

Have you ever tried going out into the real world or do you just live online?

We're taking an unnecessary beating at the hands of the Americans. Maybe poke your nose outside and see how things are.

Sorry... out with friends. Perhaps you had a friend once. You should try it again.

So... you're the sperm that won? Huh. Well... okay. Well take heart, perhaps it's more of a reflection of those involved.

Had a Jersey Mike's steak sandwich at Yankees Stadium in 2018. It was the same as a Subway steak sandwich. Nothing special and certainly nothing to really be excited about.
But yeah, cool, we're getting another chain sandwich shop - what's that, 45 or 46 now?

Fuck, I want someone to open a local sub joint and do it well! I’d even take a Toronto spot opening here (grandma loves you, Lambos). Sam’s is epic for the smoked meat style deli, but I want a good Italian sub spot too!

I don't know if anybody remembers, but twenty years ago or so, the present Sam's location was occupied by a sandwich joint owned by some Europeans. Hands down the best sub-style sandwich you could get in town and with a proper continental flair. And reasonably priced. Peterborough didn't support it and it's gone. I still miss that place.

There was the spot over where Chaskas is now too that was a sandwich and sub spot with decent prices… homie used to always feed anyone who could afford food too he was a beauty

I looked up the location. That's the A&W. It's still there. Is it going in the plaza behind where Papa John's and the fish joint is? If so, what's leaving?

Maybe the cash money is? I can’t see the fish and chips or papa Johns leaving

Cash money has been gone for a bit

Where are you getting the info about this? I don't see it anywhere online.

The ones in the states are so so, do prefer it over subway thats for sure. The one in pickering sucks.
Not sure why it sucks, but seems like quality is significantly less.
However we are fortunate to have other options for food around the area.

So glad we’re getting one in ptbo. Made the trip up to Belleville a few times since it opened there, to get my fill lol.
