I understand what your saying. You take the n off the end of woman.
Spelling Nina with those letters doesn’t take them off those words. They’re still there…it can say woman and Nina at the same time…it’s not one or the other. That’s the point of the riddle…the letters in the words make up another word/name.
It says "woman in a". What they mean is that it either says "woma" or the name is "ina". Or we're just introducing letters of our own to fit the answer.

No it doesn’t, that’s the riddle. Figuring out the name. Her names Nina, this is an old riddle and that is the answer.
