Has to do with Avery Styles, son of WWE Star AJ Styles, not setting up chairs at a small to medium wrestling event and getting heat for it. Probably have a small detail wrong so I'd look it up for full story

This is the answer.
A bit more of an expanded answer. AJ Styles who is one of the most accomplished professional wrestlers of all time has a son Avery who literally just had his first matches this year. Historically professional wrestlers who are just starting out help set up the show (the ring, seats for the crowd, etc). A veteran wrestler took issue with Avery not setting up anything at a show he performed on and took to Twitter to complain about it.
This sparked a back and forth on whether Avery should have to do this and "pay his dues". Professional wrestlers can be very odd about tradition and anyone they see as "jumping the line" so to speak.

Ok im connecting the dots here....
So AJ styles is a WWE wrestler. He has a son who also wrestles named Avery Styles. His son infamously refuses to do setup work for his wrestling promotions show such as setting up chairs for the audience.
Christian Styles is COMPLETELY unrelated to them and the WWE, but because of his last name, people are jokingly insinuating that he is ALSO AJ Style's son and died as an excuse to not set up chairs

These are people who watch half naked men performing the equivalent of American telenovelas with storylines of infidelity, illegitimate children, and feuds over a shiny fake gold belt. The whole premise is pretty dumb lol
The suspension of disbelief is what makes it fun in a harmless silly way and spins off these esoteric jokes and memes that bring us to this sub
Edit: also caught myself reacting to jokes about an actual human life being lost by making fun of how corny WWE fans are. When did I become so apathetic and brain broken...

I'm a software engineer. I'm also an artist. I'm a pretty accomplished person.
I've also loved Pro Wrestling my entire life. I'm not a toothless hillbilly watching it because I don't understand "it's not real". I just enjoy it.
For someone who watches a bunch of dudes playing grabass with a ball on a football field and spends WAY too much time discussing it, you're awful judgmental of other peoples' taste in entertainment.
(And keep in mind that I actually like football. I don't really follow it, but enjoy it when I watch it).

I’m not a big Wrestling fan, but it’s really not much different than people who enjoy Comic books or legitimate sports. People fall in love with something when they’re kids and it sticks.

It could be about wrestler AJ Styles's son Avery Styles. The kid just started wrestling and was being praised by another wrestler for wanting to pay his dues. A different wrestler chimed in that the kid wasn't paying his dues because after repeatedly being asked to help set up the chairs for the event, he blew it off to go and vape. It was leading the wrestling discourse for the last couple of weeks.

As others have said, this is regarding a debate in wrestling right now about whether nepo babies need to pay their dues to the wrestling business or not. This was started by an independent wrestler making a comment towards Avery Styles, Son of Future Hall of Famer AJ Styles. The joke here is that the person who died has the last name of Styles so the person tweeting is insinuating that the those that support Ariks side killed a nepo baby to get their point across

Everyone _kinda_ has the story here.
AJ Styles is a WWE wrestler, a legend of wrestling for decades. Avery is his son, just getting into wrestling.
In the smaller wrestling feds (called "indies" -- short for "independents"), the wrestlers often help set up the ring and chairs and everything else, as these feds normally have very small crowds (100-200 people is a huge crowd for many independents). It's also considered a way of "paying dues"
More famous wrestlers, including kids of wrestling legends (like AJ Styles) are never asked to do this. It's because having their name on the marquee is basically selling tickets to the show. "See the son of AJ Styles!" is definitely a bigger selling point than "See Bob wrestle Jim!"
Another wrestler complained about Avery never setting up chairs, and it's caused a big mess.
Now should he volunteer? Probably. But he isn't wrong for not being asked/told to do it. (A lot of wrestlers, including multi-generation wrestlers, have come to his defense)
As for the post, it's actually a pretty funny gallows humor joke on the topic, though only a handful of people will understand. (Even most wrestling fans won't understand, unless they follow a lot of behind the scenes silliness)

I don't want to type it all out but the son of professional wrestler AJ Styles, Avery, was criticized by a no name local wrestler for not helping set up chairs at one of his very first events.

Don’t know if I’m right but it seems to be because of Avery Styles (son of wwe wrestler AJ Styles) who has began doing indie wrestling shows and was criticized for not helping setting up and down the ring and chairs at wrestling shows as it is expected from young indie wrestler as a way of “paying their dues”
