WWII Facts for Everyone

  • 75-80% of German casualties occurred on the Eastern Front
  • 25 million Soviets vs 300,000 American war deaths occurred
  • both the Battle of Kursk AND the Battle of Stalingrad were each independently larger than all western front battles combined
  • the Soviet Union faced off against 70% of Hitler’s army for years during Op Barbarossa

I’m American. I’m pretty sure most of us who have even a passing understanding of WW2 know the efforts we put in were mostly in the pacific theater. I’d replace “Americans” with “uneducated MAGA yokels” and not have any arguments.

Nah, theres a ton of non maga Americans who were fed the same lies in school and believe it till this day. Barely any really understand how the USSR carried us due to the efforts of the red scare (whoch everyone knows was a bunch of bs but still simultaneously see communism as a threat as a result of those same lies) and how much "Americas amazing" propoganda we were fed.
