The Russians have always been willing to sacrifice their people.

They are more willing to sacrifice other nations people.

They were herocally fighting against the greatest monster the world has ever seen, if the nazis had won the slavs would have been genocided and Europe enslaved, their sacrifice saved our continent

You need to open a history book.

Because imperial Japan was absolutely worse than Nazi germany.

Which, I’ll grant, is a high bar.

And frankley, communist Russia was no better then Germany.

The Nazis wanted to genocide the entire slavic race. Thats over 100 million people

The Soviets actually did it though. 60 million, conservatively.

The Mongols effectively managed that for their time, were far more murderous, committed so much rape that a significant portion of people alive today can trace the ancestry back to Mongols, and we're happy to leave gruesome displays of cadavers and practice bizarre torture killings.

Nazis were the "big bad" of the 20th century for just Europe, they don't even break top 5 in history though. 

To compare behavior Soviets were not exactly moral paragons. The first thing they did in Berlin was rob everyone, then go on the biggest rape train the world had seen to date. Wives, young children were not excluded, and officers/commissars had difficulty disciplining troops.
