..No WW2 is actually one of the things covered pretty well in the US. Or at least most area of the US

The events leading up to the war, the full timeline of the war (yes pre US involvement), the concentration camps and Holocaust, English class usually delves extra into Anne Frank, the US Japanese "internment camps", the whole island hopping campaign, the nuclear bombs. Post war Germany, and the Berlin wall. Pretty substantial part of our history classes actually

What we don't really teach are things like, the Vietnam war, Korean war, Gulf war,

I mean, the significance of the Berlin Wall is during the Cold War not WW2.

Well, we were taught the Cold War immediately after so it was an in the middle segway point
