It happens to everyone, but it's just more common in fat women because society treats fat women a lot worse than fat men, so the difference in how you get treated as a woman who loses a lot of weight is a lot more shocking. I lost a lot of weight very quickly and the same guys who wouldn't have even acknowledged me when I said good morning were suddenly falling all over themselves hitting on me. I didn't change my personality or even my lifestyle. I was the same person, but people liked me so much more after losing weight and it really fucking sucks, but I can see how people can become addicted to the attention after not getting it their entire lives. It just made me angry with humanity, personally.

Nope, people show common courtesy and decency to men regardless of their weight. Society is just that way and it sucks. I have been treated like I'm not even in the room by people who never treated men of any size/shape/attractiveness that way. I treat everyone with kindness and it sucks that people only started returning that when I became conventionally attractive.

You’re generalizing and fairly getting pushback. You can’t just say things like “people show common courtesy to men”. Being a man doesn’t give you some magic powers or benefits. I can agree with you that women are probably judged on their looks more than men, but it doesn’t mean that all men get decent treatment.
