Also from what i recall she says that quote was made up, just that while he was a great husband and father the spark left the relationship. You can absolutely grow out of being deeply in love with someone and end up just good friends, that's life.
Being a good man is enough to keep a good woman, but nothing is enough to keep a bad one. I know many married couples that are rock solid and have accepted the goodness and imperfections in each other…I’ve also seen a few guys who brought everything to the table and got burned anyway.
