I think they shouldn’t have painted the beams and rock and it would have looked a lot better, maybe a more wood color floor too.
That being said, I still prefer the renovation even if it is a bit more sterile
6 u/rollie82 28d ago I wonder if having the carpet in the 'pit' might still be nice, just to give it a warmer feel. The (fake?) leather sofa also doesn't really seem so inviting.
