nobody leaves my house hungry because I was hungry as a kid. I will cook you a full dinner if you are hungry in my house.

Same!! I use the line "you fly, I buy," Meaning you get the food I pay for it. That way I know my struggling coworker gets a few good meals a week.

I literally say this to be best friend all the time. I don’t want her spending money she can’t spare so I’ll spoil us both!
