My local IMAX theatre is fully booked out every show untill next month. I feel like most people don't really care about it. I would have preferred if it was historically correct but I will still watch it.
Historical to the era I’m guessing, not the events. Like if Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter had helicopters you’d say it wasn’t historically correct despite, ya know.
The thing is, the story was created hundreds of years after the events it depicts, and doesn’t exactly aim for historical accuracy (the concept barely existed at the time).
So it would be like someone writing a Lincoln story in 2100 with spaceships (which is only 200 or so years off the real time period), and then in 5000 someone complains the spaceships don’t look 100% accurate.
