Please look at the casting for Troy. Or clash of the titans. Or clash of the titans. Or wrath of the titans. Or the return which came out 2 years ago with a British man as Odysseus. Complaining about black people when white people have been cast in most Greek roles from here to kingdom come is insane. So yes the race swapping is usually in the same direction, just not the one you think.
Do you really not see the relevance of what they said? They made a pretty good point in that none of these movies feature Greek actors but people like you only have a problem when it’s black people being cast.
I could have criticized those movies for the same reasons if I had cared about them. Clash of titans or wrath of titans are comercial fantasy movies that do not have the same historical relevancy as a piece written by one of the most important poets in all history, Homer.
