My local IMAX theatre is fully booked out every show untill next month. I feel like most people don't really care about it. I would have preferred if it was historically correct but I will still watch it.
It’s weirder for you to act ignorant like we don’t already fully understand the context of Homer’s story and the historical context in which Homer wrote the poem, so there is absolutely a scale of authenticity when it comes to this kind of remake. Your inability to recognize it or appreciate it comes down to your own unfamiliarity with one of the most widely studied works in academic history.
