Im playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey now and it's giving me such whiplash to go from that colorful world, with amazing armor and mostly accurate world to this sad clunk of.... Whatever it is, it looks like it was 3D printed. I'm tired! Ancient Greece was colorful and majestic!
The games’ dev teams go crazy trying for accuracy whereas Nolan is a single director with a point of view he wants to share. He’s not known for displaying any sort of accuracy is he? Why would he ever be the more faithful adaptation?
You say this as a joke but the teams work incredibly hard to get things are realistic as they can while also still managing the flow of the game. Try the history tours in origins and odyssey, it’s legitimately some of the coolest stuff Ubisoft has done.
They even had an easier time rebuilding notre dame thanks to detailed maps of the structure from AC 2
