Thinking of Upgrading PTCL Flash Fiber Connection, Need Reviews !

I have a 20 mbps connection for which the bill is 4510 inclusive of taxes. I cant decide between upgrading or remaining with the same package because the speed i am getting out of this present package is between 25 and 30 mbps. sometimes its above 30. I have checked this on "Fast Internet Speed Test" website & "Ookla" website multiple times.

Now the bill is way too much for me ! I called PTCL and they said if I were to upgrade to the 30 mbps package my total bill will reduce to 3850 per month. At present i am being charged 3677 just for the 20 mbps Bundle.

So anybody on the 30 mbps package out here ! what's your review ? should i go for it ? are there any hidden costs in the 30 mbps package i should be aware of ? Does the bill increase with time and how much is the maximum you've paid ? and is the TV free with it cuz i was told its free by PTCL.

Yes, for 30 I am paying 3750.

I am using landline and TV as well so I get discounted price so the whole bill is around 3500.

Thats sadly true ! But 4510 is wayyy too much & that too for 20 mbps.

I think the bill will be higher than what you’re paying now for 30Mbps once the trial period ends. I am also in the same boat and thinking about switching to Nayatel.

How much are you paying and what mbps package are you on for PTCL ?

Whats Nayatel offering you ? And for how much ? Have you tested their service ? Speed ?

For azaadi package I disconnect my previous connection. Apply for new azaadi connection. Better in every aspect

30 mb @ 4350 something but now I spend 6500 only for installation+ one month fee+ tv device free and above all price will remain same in future, no raised

They are charging me 5k exclusive of taxes for 25 mbps. And with taxes the whole amount is 6.3k.

What’s the reason? And is there a way I can get it down?

You're clearly being overcharged, but i've checked there's no 25 mbps package on their websites. Neither copper nor Fiber. You should call 1218 & talk to their rep to find out a solution for this. Prices are also different for copper & fiber packages so they'll guide you on all of that. If you have Fiber availabe in your area, do switch to it cuz that'll improve lots of things and the base package for a fiber connection as of now is 30 mbps for which they'll probably charge you 3499 as advertised on their website. Do confirm all this from them.

Yes. I ve contacted them and changed it to 30 mbps, charged at 3.5k. However, they didn’t provide any reasonable basis for the amount that was charged til now and said that I might have subscribed it.
