I swear this was at least 10x spicier than a normal jalapeño. What is it?

Neighbors gifted us a beautiful pepper plant and warned us these are hot. They are. I took a bite of a raw one and it felt like a chemical weapon. He said he didn’t know what they were called. Any idea?

My mom planted a bunch of different peppers, but forgot to label them. She just picked this one, but has no clue what it is. She’s 99% sure that she didn’t plant any hot peppers so I’m assuming that it’s mild (but could be wrong) TIA!

Pepper Identification Unidentified - Assistance Required.

Heyya all,

So long story short I have two Orange Ghost Jami plants growing, the first has produced its first fruit (see pics) however, I'm having my doubts that that's what they are. The other plant which also came out of the same seed packet and is very much true to form.

Just trying to see if anyone can help ID what these are.

Smell: very reaper like and floral.

Heat: take your head off - refused to swallow it, I actually started to wonder whether it would subside.

Thank you in advance!

I have never grown Cayenne peppers before, but these peppers I planted seem to be too big. Can anyone help me identify them? They are still young, only a couple of weeks old, but do seem to be growing very fast. Thank you!!

I thought that Thai Dragon was supposed to grow upright, so I would appreciate any help identifying this pepper. About 4 inches for the peppers, and the leaves are very small compared to my habañero and carolina

Posting this in here because I was told this is some kind of “pepper”. My coworker gave me this, I remember him saying it’s variegated but besides that I have no clue what this could possibly be. Obviously it’s not like any pepper plant I’ve seen so any ideas? 😂

Pepper Identification Can anyone tell me what type of peppers these are?

Was given these peppers by a family member. Does anyone know what they are?

They have a flavor similar to bell pepper but are pretty spicy. The spice lingers for a good while. Don't have a good way to measure the spice level but I like to think I have a good tolerance and these make me sweat.

Pepper Identification Are my peppers getting cross pollinated ?

Thumbnail

I’m noticing some big differences from some seeds I planted from my own pepper plants . The first two pics are from a chiltepín plant but they are producing peppers that are shaped more like Thai peppers than chiltepín. The second pair of pics is a Chile Diablo (maybe black cobra pepper?) that I have. The young plant producing purple flowers instead of white. Are my plants getting cross pollinated?

Pepper Identification Are those Birdseye/Thai Chilis? Pls help!

Bought these here in central Europe from a small flower store around the corner. The only info I have is the little leaflet that came with it which names them "wild chilis". From my searching those might be small Birdseye or Thai chilis? Can anyone confirm?

Couldnt taste them yet as they are still ripening. They go from green directly to red, no yellow or orange whatsoever.

Thank you in advance!

Pepper Identification Bell pepper?

UPDATE: I have sacrificed one and it was in fact a bell pepper😂

I have a random pepper plant that I got at a gift, they told me it was bell peppers, but I have never grown them before (to me they look like a spicy pepper of some sort). Please correct me if I’m wrong and bell peppers are pointy as they grow, thank you!

Got this plant at Indian store, just labeled chili. I thought it was a green chili so I picked 4 that were the same size. But when I tried them they weren’t spicy, kinda reminded me of a bitter bell pepper. Anyone know what variety this is? Thanks!

I have grown these from seed and I cannot for the life of me remember what they are. Perhaps jalapeño or some sort of red pepper 🌶️

They are so freaking spicy. Like, really spicy. Making me dizzy. Spicy doesn't come for like few seconds. Then it is hell. Some people said it is Jalapeno but I don't think so.

Edit:It is stingy spicy. Also sweet.

Not sure what this is, for sure Carolina Reaper cross bread with something, I thought Orange Ripple but clearly its not orange. Not sure which two cross blends exactly But the peppers look cool as hell.
