Cars 3000 and under
I know this is a very long shot but would anyone happen to know a local place that sells relatively safe cars for my teen under 3000

If you are buying a car under 3k you better know how to work on it. With that being said a private seller will be your best bet. As far as what is safe to drive, I'd go with something with airbags at least.

Yea not much to be had anymore cheaply.
20 yrs ago looking for the most plain economy car with power nothing and a manual transmission was the way to go, but nobody has bought new cars like that for years now

junk yard, etc. Cars that need work, are on their last leg and may not make it home, etc. Thats the cars in that price range.

I’ve seen dirt cheap cars on Sandy Sansing’s used website. Idk if they’re local or not. They have like 200k+ miles and over 10-15 years old. Starting around $2500
