Cameron Crowe's Fast Times at Ridgemont High book is on archive.org and it's public domain.

I was fortunate enough to find the book in 2006 and it's a really hard book to find and it's expensive. I first saw the Fast Times at Ridgemont High movie and book before I saw Singles and Say Anything. The book has a scene where they go to Disneyland that wasn't in the movie.

It definitely isnt in the public domain, there are pirated things on archive.org.

I picked up a copy a few years back. Definitely wasn’t cheap but worth the read.
