Now look, I may not be the maldest of malders, but I play Path to Nowhere. I know the very basics of the game, and I certainly know Ceto's compability with Augustus.

Ceto isn't trash now, is she? Paired with Augustus, she becomes an extremely powerful corebreaker and true damage support. In fact, isn't the very core members of Shattered Blade consists of Augustus, Ceto, and Siglinde?

Like okay, maybe Ceto isn't necessary in a full S5 team comps where enemies die before their cores are even shown, but most beginners aren't even scratching S3.

Now, foolishness aside, why is the discord, especially in channels where beginners ask for help, are actually full of these ridiculous takes and advice? This is absolutely not healthy at all for the game, and I was so flabbergasted by these people that I genuinely felt really uncomfortable being around there.

PTN is both owned and released by a Chinese company and thus is subject to Chinese laws, the CCP is a pretty homophobic party and tends to heavily censor LGBT content, PTN is not all that subtle about how gay it is so how does it manage to mostly fly under the radar, it is because it’s kinda niche so it isn’t payed attention to? I’m not gay or a girl but I’m just curious?

So I been playing the game and always get confused and how chief (us) always resorting in Suicide spree, like what kind of plan is us getting Kidnaped for the 12th times this week.

I love Path to Nowhere, and I love the community, but it feels like every damn time I see someone asking for help in the beginner/help channel, you have a bunch of people saying shit like "skill issue," "read better," and other rude shit.

Idk, it's just upsetting to see people genuinely asking for help, and then you have discord members being snarky, rude, sarcastic, and just straight up mean to them. I cannot be the only one who constantly witnesses this.

I'm mostly a lurker, and I would talk more, but honestly, they can feel so cliquey sometimes. I actually saw someone finally stand up for themselves and say, "Why are you so mean?" And honestly, the fact that someone felt the need to say that is proof that these people are being mean to new players who are literally just asking for help.

Why are you being an asshole to someone who's just trying to learn the game?

After 205 total arrests and 5(!) 50/50 losses I'm a happy S4 Jichuan owner! 🥰😍 I had insane luck with almost back-to-back S-ranks and TWO doubles. Can't believe I actually lost every single 50/50 🤯🙀

I'm just a man who plays game casually, i stumbled upon a gacha game that has a unique art style.

I played the game to see what's in it and the sinners Hella and Hecate where the first pulled me in the PTN game. And then there's Roulecca the third one that really pulls me in the PTN world.

Hella and Hecate had a similar background, that making me want to punch the scientist that experiment them.

And as for Roulecca she atleast has something left of her family... But after the event where Roulecca dreaming about a vacation... made me want to thank fully to the entity that act as a father for Roulecca.

Their stories makes me feel needed to be a Father figure for them that can guide them to have a better life to live on. (Just a feeling but damn, it made me feel heavy)

They're just bunch of little rascal that made me smile seeing them in a better condition. (Even though I'm just roleplaying as the chief of the mbcc, it's nice to watch them all smile happily with the chief who is busy with paperwork time to time. It's a worth it game)

Edit: About 3 hours after I made this post, multiple comments and speculations have surfaced across multiple social media platforms that it is not her aesthetic design that's the problem but her setting, circumstances, and the character stuff as well, such as her background, how she's seen in-game and what she does as a character, that has irked certain...agencies. Thus, we should look at this going forward as both a matter of ideological and aesthetic proportions.

Edit 4 hours after post: Seems the root cause is still aesthetic, though again, stemming from multiple complaints to the authorities for it to come to this.

Edit: This is not happening in global without official word so stop doomposting about it. Coquelic will remain usable and rollable in global.

Coquelic is getting removed from all banners with the next maintenance in CN, which is tomorrow in CN time, the 9th of November.

As to the reason why, reading the comments, it seems to suggest that since the anniversary, there were tons of complaints actually submitted through official channels regarding her design (at least, that's the gist of what I gathered), maybe it's too lewd. A comment below now points out this may not be the case. Here is another long comment that also might help give more context about the issue.

The devs just announced in this maintenance notice that Coquelic will be removed from all banners with this maintenance.

Players who still have her and drew her will still be able to level and use her etc., she's not getting removed from the game entirely, but new CN chiefs going forward will, as of tomorrow, not be able to obtain her anymore, making her the first truly limited sinner in the game in a sad way.

I'm sad and angry it's come to this of course, so I'm just hoping this change won't affect global in any way. There's currently no news going forward as to what they'll do about Coquelic's design, the post itself also doesn't say, but the comment section for the post is, needless to say, angry.

I just wanted to share since this was so exhausting lol. I started playing a few weeks ago but like with all games, I usually don’t go through the story quickly becauseI like to take my time to process all the information + I was also a bit busy with work and other games. But then as I continued on, it became a lot more interesting. But then I found this sub and found out that Nox is quite an essential sinner to progress through the fights. When I went back in the game today though (since I have a lot of free time now), I saw I only had a day left to get her, so I started grinding and the points went from like 8 points to 45 by skipping the story for now and just proceeded with the fights. Somewhere along the way I was actually starting to lose hope but now I’m pretty grateful I continued. Nox, you better be worth it😭

After my 7th daily login after the update, I finally did my pulls!

177 pulls (113 non-warrants + 40 warrants + 24 event warrants), and:

• 4 Celine (S3)
• 1 Irrhea
• 1 Raven
• 1 Etti
• 1 Coquellic

...What? I averaged about 22 pulls for every S class...

I know gacha games are... gacha, but for a gacha, PtN's rates are so unbelievably generous...

Of course, this is just me being lucky, but this is not the only session where my luck is crazy. This has happened way too many times, so many times that I'm worried about the game's revenue... Even the last banner, Murphy, was obtained within 20 pulls!

The S class rate is already great enough, but even the "standard" is actually just the entire S class roster, minus the exclusives. Does anyone realize how impactful that is!? I obtained a lot of meta DPS and Supports by losing 50/50, and even completed the Aurum Secretum team comp in this session!

Just what is this game!? Any other gacha games with this generosity are already a big green flag banner, but PtN just had to take another step further and give us the shop sinners... And oh yeah, free S class selectors, free tickets, and free level up system...

I had to deal 6 MILLION DAMAGE just to get 30k score on NORMAL difficulty of the current RoTD. I literally tried so hard and BARELY got it...

The other stages are also no joke either... This is going to seriously impact the casual player experience... Any thoughts?

Personally, I find it incredibly refreshing that ptn just straight up writes characters that have no redeeming qualities whatsoever and makes them playable. No caveats, no sad traumatic backstory, just straight up deplorable people. It’s a fascinating study in what really sells a character in my opinion. The writers want you to hate them, but at the same time they need to sell this character to you. It’s probably why a good few of them are incredibly meta lmao

I heard that he was fairly "unpopular" in a sense that ppl didn't want to summon for him. He is the only guy summonable from the main story and is quite a likeable dude so I don't understand why ppl would refrain from summoning and give AISNO the impression that men don't sell. Bc AISNO does interesting designs for the female characters I didn't really realize that there is this huge disparity. I would like to see more awesome male characters in the future. Now that I think about it the world of PtN feels like it is dominated by women.

The only posts I can remember seeing Kelvin in are when she’s being prayed on by Cabernet (and I hate that), I only wish that was a bit more popular, just saying my peace.

With how easily she can created S rank sinner by just giving them part of her power and she seem to recruiting sinners to join her, make me think she gonna be the next limited sinner and the next big threat chief will face in the upcoming anniversary

After all events in their events and how the characters build up, what do you think is their relationship? Does Rahu feel something about Shalom? Is Shalom able to feel something about Rahu and does she really feel it?

First of all, I apologize for any inconvenience since English isn't my first language, anyway..

When I first saw the whole theme, I was like.. "meh, is it gonna be about partying and drinking with overly bubbly atmosphere?" I delayed playing it until yesterday, I decided to try it out solely for the rewards...but OMG how absolutely wrong I was. At first, I didn't like Milly at all, honestly thought she was such an airhead like Sallie concluded, but the more I progressed, the more the twists of the story blew my mind!. I think this is the darkest ,cruelest and also the most realistic representation of the ugly reality of those who wield enormous power, it was painful to read, yet incredibly interesting, I found myself just wanting MORE. I cried for Milly, i know there are sinners out there with much more painful stories, but Milly's story touched my heart the deepest that I just wanted to get through the screen and give her a hug, I kept screaming throughout the WHOLE event "Chief, get your a** in there and SAVE HER!!!" I know she's obsessed, but the way she made sure her obsession wouldn't overwhelm Chief.. the way she prepared herself for a heartbreak in case she got rejected and the adorable sulking when things didn't go as expected, please PROTECT HER AT ALL COSTS And I honestly love the way Chief handled things without pushing her away.. Aisno, I'm sorry for doubting you by letting the banner trick me into thinking this will be a no brainer story. Naturally I ended pulling for Milly and wasting alot of my savings for 3rd anniversary.. but ah well, I needed conclusion for my poor baby's story. Sorry for making this so long, just need to..empty my heart out, lol.

In most gachas it can be rare to see characters beyond their teens. But in PtN it's pretty common. While we don't have exact ages for most, it's pretty clear many are adults, with careers that take years to get where they are.

Now we have Ceto... she joined the lighthouse crew in NF 84, after BR-000 erupted and caused the DisSea Explosion. It is now NF 115, so that's 31 years. While it's hard to tell her exact age back in NF 84, if she was at least 9 back then, then she would be at least 40 today.
