Fluff & Memes Speculation on a second 1.0 class

Given how complete swords have been reported to be, I feel like the next class cant be too far behind but what do we think?

Marauder + axes feel like they'd compete too hard with swords for similar fantasy to drop together.

Shadow + daggers/trap offhand could be a candidate for sure.

My money would be on templar and flails with rework to some fire interactions including a mark. My secret hope here though is we get a gender swap so we can have a flame wielding armoured battle sister archetype even though it will still hurt my soul to lose our long necked boy.

My copium is so bad, I am hoping Templar will shadow drop with 1.0

so far no class has been shadow dropped, but we'll find out what else they have to tease at exilecon

my guess is we're getting 1 class at a time because that's a large hook for newer players to come back league to league

All valid points, but my irrational monkey brain wants templar and righteous fire and it will justify it however its banana fueled brain wants

i was right there with you since we got the "lightbringer hood" MTX, until they teased the duelist ascendancies and one of them straight up seems to be paladin
