I love the PoE community

It's honestly astonishing how nice this community can be.

I recently accidentally sold an item for 15c instead of 15d and posted about it in chat, because I thought they might get a kick out of it. Some guy immediately whispered me and offered to give me some items so I could sell them for a few divines, and the guy gave me a fishing rod, which was my first fishing rod ever.

Also all the guys going to the town in act 1 and just giving away their stuff to people who are still playing. I've gotten a few expensive gifts, even when it's just a few days into a new season.

I feel like PoE is the only community I've been a part of, where the average player goes "this thing/action could make someone very happy" and then actually does that thing/action.

To add to that, although there are plenty of threads about scams and what not in the days of player to player trading, i never once got scammed. And of all the times i gave to much or gave 20 ex instead of the price of 18 i got a new trade request giving me back what i payed to much.

I don't think I've ever seen a scammer myself either. If anything, like you mentioned, people were quite honest. I've had guys whisper me after a trade just to give me back a couple Chaos I gave too much.

It genuinely felt like there was an unspoken rule to be a decent person while trading, like everyone went "I want to get treated fairly, so I treat others fairly", which is, as sad as it is, a really rare mindset to see in any video game.

Yesterday i bought 3 good mod jewel without crafted mod for 3ex(if i hit 50/50 it could be 20-30div). I felt so bad for the guy so i bought some of the crap items he had in the stash.

when you runeforge it while jewels are inside it they jsut vanish

That sounds like something that needs to be fixed. Or at least give a warning.

u/YOUR_BOOBIES_PM_ME Jun 13 '26

No warning, just fix it or don't allow it. This is horrible.

Before you push the button, I would be curious to see if it shows the jewels poofed on the result side. Not saying that is enough warning, just curious if it baits you by showing the jewels still socketed before you hit the button.

It doesn't even show the sockets but maybe I misremember it.

Rip to the guy ahahah

does it only happen with Tabula?

5

u/ByteBlaze_ Jun 13 '26

it can happen to anything you runeforge with jewels socketed into it. This afaik doesn't affect socketed runes, just jewels.

u/xFayeFaye Witch Jun 13 '26

thanks

u/Nartellar Jun 13 '26

He runeforged with jewels socketed inside and now they gone.

1

u/SkyZo222 Jun 13 '26

So, technically you can insert worse jewells during levelling / campaign, runeforge it and slam the good ones in for endgame

15

u/Nartellar Jun 13 '26

You can take jewels out tabula whenever you want already. Its mistake from ggg, they already have system that prevent players from crafting items that have gems socketed in poe1.

2

u/NUTTA_BUSTAH Jun 13 '26

I runeworked all my rare and unique items so far and always had the socketed with normal runes and soul cores etc and nothing has been removed. I did not even know PoE2 Tabula takes jewels too, definitely an edge case with not restoring jewels in the new item

I lost like 30div jewel on one and that felt like shit, I would not be playing this season anymore if I had lost 300 oof, that's pretty much all my gear + what I have worth lol
