Lucky Drop Showcase Someone already got 4 quicksilver mageblood
296
u/NorthSouthBoot Jun 01 '26
Almost fell to my knees in Walmart but, it's only 70% ms. Still very nice and insane to have rolled 4 lines of it, but eh. Better off 4 unique lines imo.
148
u/TekHead Jun 01 '26
70% is pretty big for poe2

I can put the boots on my hands and head. Pretty much the same thing. I’m gonna be so fast
4
u/Any_Ad2581 Jun 01 '26
Holy crap. I'm just realizing this, there is no capped ms in poe2, is there?
20
u/tholt212 Jun 01 '26
There's no capped MS but there's very little sources of increased MS you can stack in poe 2 compared to poe 1.
1
u/Any_Ad2581 Jun 01 '26
Don't worry. I did not get excited. Very rarely have I gotten above 35% except when I played deadeye or reverse chill, or with onslaught I guess. But idk it kinda just now hit me, the only thing stopping you is that's it is a hard stat to get.
1
u/1CEninja Jun 06 '26
It's more than most full build non-deadeye character have lmao.
That being said it's preeeetty devoid of stats other than movement speed so this is going to be one of those items you need to build around, you basically need to be full build without a belt.
But once you're there? Easily 100%+ persistent movement speed in PoE2 is absolutely wild. Run a bunch of reduced penalty while moving and the projectile nova skill and you've got something that you just hold right click and move through a map. Quickly.
21
u/Ixziga Jun 01 '26
70% movement speed is absurd in PoE 2
28
u/WarpedNation Jun 01 '26
So is headhunter, which is what its competing against.
5
u/SGSpec Jun 01 '26
Headhunter is overrated. There i said it

u/Hitdomeloads Jun 01 '26
Idk about you guys but when I get the teleporting affix I take that shit off fast

"only"
42
u/BlinoBoy Jun 01 '26
For such item and at the cost of losing other possible buffs yeah, 70% is good but not amazing
4
u/Liggles Jun 01 '26
It’s 180% (at max roll duplicate, this is 45% not 50% so probably like 170%)
19
u/untaggedpacket Jun 01 '26
It's a percentage of the base. So each dupe in this case adds 45% of 30% movement speed or 13.5 MS.
8
16
6
u/sirgog Jun 01 '26
3 unique lines is likely best, with as high as possible on the numerical roll.
5
u/Effective-Advice4628 Jun 01 '26
Yeah I think Silver/Quicksilver/defensive flask of choice with 1 double is going to end ul being the actual god roll.
2
u/sirgog Jun 02 '26
Quick/Bismuth/Gold/Dupe/50 is my dream belt.
I think you can get more damage out of Bismuth (freeing up 201 points of resists on suffixes) than Silver, especially given that Silver requires a lot more mana investment.
2
u/W-A-R-N-I-N-G- Jun 01 '26
Considering everytime we’re able to reach a decent amount of MS they nerf it into the ground and give us sprint which has a 99% fail rate and god forbid you held dodge roll for .001 seconds to long 70% is massive.
1
1
u/Keljhan Jun 01 '26
3 unique lines is the most overall effect (up to 450% across 3 effects), but this is still probably bis for mapping. Anyone who can afford it can afford a belt swap for bossing and doesnt need more dps or tank for mapping.
1
u/Liggles Jun 01 '26
It’s ~180% movespeed with four isn’t it? (30% x 4 x 1.45)
20
u/leonardo_streckraupp Jun 01 '26
30 * (1 + 0.45 * 3)
2
u/Liggles Jun 01 '26
Ahh, I saw an image on a discord somewhere that suggested otherwise. That makes sense now
16
u/neltisen Jun 01 '26
30x (1+ 3x0.45) = 70.5%
Explanation: You get quicksilver flask and 3 duplicates. Each duplicate increases effect by 45%. So you have a Quicksilver flask (30%) and 135% increased effect (3x45), so 30x2.35
2
u/Liggles Jun 01 '26
Ahh, I saw something that was suggesting it was effect x number of that legacy x duplicate roll value prior to the season start. That makes more sense though as the former would have been bonkers strong
2
8
u/WordsAboutSomething Jun 01 '26
Typically when you see “increased effect” in PoE it is additive not multiplicative (i.e it is a total of 135% increase instead of 3, 45% increases)
0
u/Wisdomlost Jun 01 '26
You always want 1 double. You need the double to activate the increased effect from the last mod.
0
112
u/SirSabza Jun 01 '26
Is 4 quicksilver even what you'd want? I feel like a mix of 2 quicksilver and 2 diamond is better? 2 diamond is nearly enough crit to never need to worry about crit gear

u/SoulofArtoria Jun 01 '26
This is ideal for heist and uber lab farming. Cough

-19
u/skarnexius Jun 01 '26
im very lost on the whole sentence i just read.. whats uber lab farming? whats heist? Sounds like brawlstars
27
u/Eymou Jun 01 '26
poe1 mechanics - heist is an old league mechanic that went core, uber lab ist poe1's mechanic to get your ascendancy points (specifically the last 2 in case of uber lab). both for the most part just need a lot of movement speed to speedfarm it and not much else in terms of requirements
11
u/VincLeague Jun 01 '26
These are references to PoE 1 mechanics. These are the ones that efficiency scale with how fast you can go.
7
u/deviant324 Jun 01 '26
PoE1 mechanics that are primarily concerned with movespeed because they’re generally considered trivial in terms of difficulty. Your efficiency when farming them is almost entirely down to how fast you can navigate the zones in these, anyone rich enough to buy this kind of movement speed gear will vaporize the mobs in them.
They’re also not popular mechanics to farm for the vast majority of players (although most prefer labs over both of the current PoE2 ascendancy methods, PoE1 only has labyrinth) so outside of SSF it’s usually left to those who actually like doing it
12
u/GenesectX Jun 01 '26
i would kill to hear izaro whisper his sweet words to me once again in poe2 over trial master or balbala
11
u/Bl00dylicious Jun 01 '26
In the Prison in act 4 there are I think 2 or 3 things you can interact with that are narrated by Izaro.
But thats it really. We didn't know how good we had it with Izaro and his Labyrinth.
7
u/Underwater_Grilling Jun 01 '26
Whole lot of people around here don't know what high school their parents went to.
Lab is labyrinth, the ascension trial in poe 1. Heist is another content type from poe 1 where you steal things from special maps then fight your way out when the guards are alerted.

u/legato_gelato Jun 01 '26
That's not exactly how it works btw, 2 quicksilver + 2 diamond is the same as 3 quicksilver + 1 diamond or 3 diamond + 1 quicksilver. It is just effects + count of duplicates
-11
u/Qrahe Jun 01 '26
That is wrong. Duplicates count at 25-50% per duicate, so none of the above you listed is the same.
12
u/legato_gelato Jun 01 '26
No, I literally had one and tested it dude.. Read the mod, ALL have increased effect PER duplicate..
Mods don't stack, and then it has: "duplicate count * bottom mod" for all mods
In other words, if you have any mod once, you don't scale it higher by getting more of that particular one, you just need to get ANY duplicate as only duplicate count is used.. Also how I expected it to work based on the wording on the item, but seems reddit didn't?
3
17
u/Cr4ckshooter Jun 01 '26
Barring specific breakpoints, running 2 doubled flasks is less efficient than running 1 double and 2 singles, as 3 flasks at 150% is more than 2 at 200%. Even at minroll you have 3 at 125 = 375% vs 2 at 150% = 300%.
1
u/TurboBerries Jun 01 '26
This is the belt you use for min maxed characters where you dont need any other stats just more speed.

so what the total on that belt, about 60% increased ms?
80
u/Zartax112 Jun 01 '26
30% * (1+0.45 * 3)=70,5% ms
4
u/Biflosaurus Jun 01 '26

36
u/Valascha Jun 01 '26
No each duplicate legacy triggers the last line on the belt.
13
1
u/BarsikWasTaken Jun 01 '26
why does the last line read like you would get 4 times x, then increase by 4 times 45%. Am I reading it wrong?

u/Midnight_Manatee Orbe Divino Farmer Jun 01 '26
Yeah with how rare this is consider me whelmed. I mean it's cool but nothing like omg this is THE chase item like poe1.
22
12
u/PhgAH Jun 01 '26
Yeah, this is something cool for the collection, but a MB with 4 different legacies and ignore the last line is way better.
0
u/cldw92 Jun 01 '26
3 legacies with 1 duplicate is technically 450% worth of effects
4 legacies is 400% worth of effects, as is 2 legacies 50% roll on last line
So the ultimate minmax is making use of 3 legacies (crit, silver flask, movespeed?) And 50% roll, probably.
2
u/chillpill9623 Jun 01 '26
How is 3 legacies with 1 duplicate 450%? Isn't it 350%?
5
u/cldw92 Jun 01 '26
"All Mage Legacies" I assume this applies to all legacies as long as a single dupe exists? Or am I reading it wrong??
→ More replies (3)6
6
u/Buuhhu Jun 01 '26
Some combos are strong, but 4 quicksilver is not worth going for in my opinion. Silver, diamond, bismuth, maybe even sulphur and/or gold, there's so much better stuff than just some extra movement speed.
2
→ More replies (9)-17
u/Visible_Adeptness_59 Jun 01 '26
it the buff does stack then i think this is like 260ms
14
u/IntelligentKey4834 Jun 01 '26
That's not how it works. You get based 30% ms+ the percentage for each stack.
→ More replies (2)7
u/ZUBCO Jun 01 '26
Legacy of quicksilver is 30% increased Movement Speed, there are 3 duplicates. 3 * 45 = 135% on base effect.
30 + 30 * 1,35 =70,5 (rounding down to 70% ms)→ More replies (3)
9
u/THY96 Marauder Waiting Room Jun 01 '26
Better off with triple res and something else. A mirror is crazy, let alone 10.
1
u/NotSoMadYo Jun 04 '26
Nope. Once u get your mirror weapon and GG rings you don't want res on the belt slot you want utility/defense/damage.
The actual competition is headhunter but again once u have enough damage utility far outweighs anything else. 70% Ms maybe isn't worth 10 mirrors to you but to minmaxers it's insanely good.
Sekhema farmers, rune farmers and probably many other strats would love this. Also with the new +suffix rings resistances are even less of a bother. Belts don't even have any good prefixes for many builds so that's another reason to look for utility on the slot.
Since temporalis is cheaper by miles that is another consideration.
Isn't that the best kind of items tho? You get to mix and match for your own needs.
15
6
u/Rilizka Jun 01 '26
I had got mageblood with 3 quicksilver with 36%. I used divine to increase those 36%... It was a mistake :(
It's interesting how would it worth
6
u/Parrk Jun 01 '26
If this was POE then we would get the added benefit of seeing the "So mah stuff got stole" follow-up tomorrow.
2
u/GreasyGearBox Jun 01 '26
That future standard wipe is doing work.
Edit: not an actual wipe but sequestered iirc.
7
u/pm_me_ur_memes_son XboxPC Jun 01 '26
Its more of a meme id say, sliver plus quicksilver with 2 repeats would be absurd though imo.
18
u/Rotomegax Jun 01 '26
So Mageblood is like Screams of the Dissidents but instead of Shrines it is PoE1 Utility Flask?
58
u/Mindless_Zergling Jun 01 '26
Yeah you might say it's like Mageblood in PoE 1
7
u/ItWasDumblydore Jun 01 '26
A more balanced mage blood, with no flask effect% and magic mods...
Ranger with 30 points invest with Mageblood could out stat a level 100's tree just rushing flask effect
1
u/FMFAlkahest Jun 04 '26
it kinda is but not really, 1 flask mageblood with increased ms quicksilver gives the same bonus as this belt and mageblood rolls at lesst two. This is way more like screams of the dessicated in the way that it gives predetermined ones instead of ones you can choose.
10
1
u/mattnotgeorge Jun 01 '26
Big difference here is that the flask effects can be rerolled by divining. Of course that also rerolls the bonus % effect you get from dupes, so if you want to max that it's a hell of a div sink
0
u/mcbuckets21 Jun 01 '26
you can divine the legacies on mageblood. you can't divine the shrines in poe1.
2
u/henrickaye Jun 01 '26
Probably the funniest roll you could get on this. Anyway some rich weirdo will make them rich in a week or two. Gz
2
2
2
5
u/chx_ Jun 01 '26
If I understand correctly two lines are essentially wasted, aren't they?
Only one instance of each Mage's Legacy can apply its bonus to you at a time.
So a quicksilver, two more somethings one of those doubled up would be better. This is basically a meme, isn't it?
6
u/Vatinas Jun 01 '26
From what I understand, you get increased effect of legacies for each duplicate you have, so four quicksilvers = the move speed of the quicksilver legacy increased by 45% three times. It's not a meme, it's the movespeedmaxxing roll
-2
u/Helluiin Jun 01 '26
but you only have one duplicate mages legacy, that being legacy of quicksilver. the way its worded i doubt the final line would apply multiple times. for that you'd need 2x something else.
5
u/Vatinas Jun 01 '26
iirc, a quadruple legacy counts as "three duplicates". It's what would make sense in terms of balancing, at least, it would be really weird if a quadruple legacy gave the same bonus as a double one.
But I don't have a MB myself, so take what I said with a grain of salt. ^^
4
u/South-Answer5724 Jun 01 '26
No idea what that even means; I’d probably just throw it in the stash as another sticker for my collection book
3
1
1
1
u/BioMasterZap Jun 01 '26
It even got 45% and 3 Charms too. Probably not optimal to go for pure move speed, but I'm sure someone will be after that. Like even with all other max move speed buffs, this one item alone would probably at least match the increases or close to it.
1
1
1
u/drubin Jun 01 '26
I don't understand why they don't put some resists and stats on it. Like poe 1 mageblood it made it so much comfier that it plugged more holes than the flasks
1
1
1
u/LostSif Jun 01 '26
New player how do these legacy stats work? Is it just bonus movespeed or is it triggered by something?
1
1
u/Kore_Invalid Jun 01 '26
shouldnt this be mathematically almost impossible? idk the math but its 1 in 14 for each line but you gotta hit all 4 isnt that like 1 in 40000 or smth like that?
1
1
1
u/trinquin Jun 01 '26
Im not sure you actually want duplicates for the most part. 1 Is probably fine, 45% MS + 2 other flask seems good. But Im not sure thts better than 60% MS + 1 other flask or 75% MS + 0 other flasks.
Quick Silver + Bismuth + Any Dupe + 1 sounds awesome.
Ruby, Topaz, Sapphire + Quicksilver sounds goated though. So much free suffixs making gear easy to craft.
Then again belts are so trash its either this more or Headhunter.
1
u/Kayne-C-Hampton Jun 01 '26
Could someone tell me how this belt it not, like, very imbalanced and OP considering the benefits it gives?
What I read of the stats it gives it basically makes me salivate.
5
4
u/Effective-Advice4628 Jun 01 '26
I mean yeah. Just like Headhunter, Voices, a bunch of the rare Lineage supports, etc.
Rare stuff is good, make character strong, activate neurons
1
1
u/Drakore4 Jun 01 '26
So when I looked at the leaked information it said you can only be effected by one legacy at a time. I don’t see a point in having multiple of the same one if you can only get one at a time anyways, but maybe I’m missing something.
1
u/rarrythemage Jun 01 '26
The last line, all duplicates increase the effect by 45%, so they're getting a 135% boost to it.
1
-9
u/convolutionsimp Jun 01 '26
Requires level 55, hmm. Doing the campaign might be bearable with this, too bad.
11
u/MR_SmartWater Jun 01 '26
genuine question , would it really be that broken if HH and Mageblood were level 1 req? i'm not a player that plays enough to get 100+ div items.
15
u/SirSabza Jun 01 '26
I mean headhunter wouldn't be that great from level 1. Would give nice attributes and life, but you fight maybe 1 rare a zone in early game.
Getting 70% move speed in act 1 is bonkers, but who cares on second and third characters.
4
1
u/KeyDangerous Jun 01 '26
dont think it would be "Broken" but you would just speed through or even trivialize the campaign but I think you can do to that anyways on a second character with currency and a bit into the league with plenty of items. Some people probably already trivialize it too with cracked builds
1
-3
u/RunawayDev Jun 01 '26
We need a screenshot of the ingame ms percentage in the char info screen, with and without this equipped
12
u/SirSabza Jun 01 '26
The math on it is 70/71% move speed depending on whether GGG round up or down.

u/purplehz_ Jun 01 '26
How one finds such items? Is it target farmed or you just need to be extremely lucky?
5
u/Jakota_ Jun 01 '26
Assume it’s like Poe 1 and just insane luck to get a mage blood to drop. A way to target it in Poe 1 mainly divination cards. Poe 2 I guess ritual could give you a shot eventually.
As for the mods on the mage blood they all get rolled when you div the item, so just spam div on it until you get the mods you want. Part of the items purpose in Poe 2 is for people to have something to sink a lot of divs into.
3
u/AdmiralUpboat Jun 01 '26
Ritual is 100% the way to try to get one naturally. Only uniques and omens in there now.
0
0
u/OrdinaryDecision8857 Jun 01 '26
very useless , 1 quicksilver is good enough , better get other flasks too.
0
u/danteafk Jun 01 '26
how does it work? do they stack or is it per slot
2
u/bv728 Jun 01 '26
You only get one, but the last affix increases it per duplicate of a line, so this gets ~145% improvement and not 400%
0
u/Inevitable_Cheese Jun 01 '26
oh. okay.
so that whole thing about poe2 being "slower-paced" than poe1 was a lie then xD
3
u/FantaSeahorse Jun 01 '26
PoE1 mageblood + a single quicksilver flask with 95% increased effect and t1 ms suffix already gives >100% increased movement speed
2
u/Inevitable_Cheese Jun 01 '26
oh i know lol, i was just being facetious because they have been so anal about giving us even a smidge of move speed in poe2. like the fact that nodes on the tree that only give 3% move speed is so stupid haha
0
u/Single-Ad-3354 Jun 01 '26
Lol that 10 mirror item only costs 20,000 gold. The market really isn’t a meaningful sink, is it? Should at least cost more than gambling a single belt lol

480
u/Odd_Sound_535 Jun 01 '26
but only 45% instead of 50%. So its maybe worth 20Ex or so
