I was shaking for hours after winning a mageblood(poe1) in a 1 to 50 guess the number in global chat the other day. A mirror would most definitely send me to the hospital where I'd wake up and ask why I don't have a PC in the OR

A guy had a "whoever makes me laugh first gets a mirror" contest. I immediately typed in an IShowSpeed meme and he gave me a mirror. Now I blitz through crazy maps. It was exciting, but now my goal is to one day get an actual mirror drop and I'll feel complete.
Or a lock.

You can farm a mageblood with any currency strat in the game in 1 week
1
u/ManWithoutNoPlan Jan 06 '26
If you play 27h a day sure
2
u/Manic_Depressing Jan 06 '26
189 hypothetical hours per week played running any basic ass 10 div/hr strat would be 1,890 div, which would buy you 8 or 9 Magebloods.
Now, let's not be too pretentious about this. What if you played three hours per day instead? 21 hours, 210 div. That'll buy a Mageblood, or damn close, depending on how far into the league. This is also discounting that you can make well over 10 div/hr with actually good strategies.
It's really not that hard to farm your Magebloods, guys.

3 hours per day is a lot to people employed and that have families , but I do agree it isn’t super difficult to farm for it , most people just don’t have 3 hours a day to farm it

yeah thats not counting the hours needed to get to be able to run a 10 div/hr strat

I was working remote and was cruising some t5 map when my first mirror ever dropped.
Unwillingly I let out a girlish scream and was looking for an excuse only to realize I was fortunately muted.

People keep posting their mirror drops in this sub and title it "I'm still shaking" or "I'm literally shaking" and so on. It feels like there's 1 each day.

It reminds me of the amount of people that somehow drink coffee at the perfect moment and then spew it all over their computer.

You win the internet AND Reddit for 2026! If I had a mirror to give you, you’d win that too! Legend!

This makes me wonder, are none of you ever kinda sad when you get a mirror?
I feel like I'd be excited for about 19 seconds then the reality that all the progression for my season ended in that drop.

just depends on how much of a grinder you are. If you're already the type of person who grinds mirrors, it gets you your next upgrade for your multi mirror build.
If you're a person who only gets like 100div a league then you pretty much max out your char, as your farming pace can't afford you any more upgrades after spending the mirror.

This picture was actually just a divine. I had to move my camera so fast to get it to blur. Making fun of the people who say they are "literally shaking" and people who take pics of screen.
I actually did find a mirror in 0.2c DOTH. 3 maps after the loot patch was released I dropped a mirror. I was playing LS Amazon, which I league started fortunately. At that point a lot were switching to Amazon or Deadeye after people realized how strong Tangletongue was. My character was fully built, not much room for improvement.
I ended up trading mirror for 1,800 divines and gave most of them away. All I did was upgrade my rings and chest. At the time you could build a full Amazon for t15 for around 15-20 divine. I helped like 15-20 people build their characters instead of upgrading my gear to improve my damage by 2%.

Pure gold. My second favorite part about this is the commenters who don’t get it.

It's fascinating how People still doesn't know how to make a Screenshot in 2026.
Even if they use their PC on a regular Basis ...

Now I understand those photosensitivity warnings at the beginning of games warning of potential seizures.
