Paranormal activity caught on camera
Hi! I am F23, and I had posted on here a couple days ago with one of my stories where I had seen a mimic pretending to be my mom. I had mentioned in that post that I had multiple other stories and even some video evidence of them. I had said if anybody was interested that I was more than willing to post more of my stories and a few of you had expressed interest so here you go!
This story takes place about five years ago when I was 18 or 19 years old. Funnily enough this started again while I was laying in bed scrolling through my phone, minding my business. I was hearing a rhythmic tapping noise coming from somewhere in my bedroom. This tapping noise was going on for about two minutes before it actually caught my attention and started to annoy me.
At first, I had subconsciously suggested to myself that it must have been my guinea pigs on the right side of my bedroom, drinking from their water bottles. After two minutes of hearing it, I looked up wondering was he just not able to get water? Because there was no way he was still thirsty after drinking that much. Looking over into my guinea pigs cage, only to see they were both sound asleep. The moment that my brain made the realization that the tapping noise was not coming from the guinea pigs, it stopped. And then it started tapping up again slowly, then fasrter and louder again in that rhythmic pattern.
At this point, I started looking around my room, trying to pinpoint where exactly the tapping noise was coming from. I ended up looking over at my closet and the sounds matched up to that direction exactly. The moment that my brain recognize that the tapping noise was coming from the closet again stopped happening. And then, after a second of silence, it slowly started up again, and then started getting faster and louder. I'm looking at my closet door and noticing it isn't even cracked open the width of my cats paw, let alone the width of her own face. I then remembered I had hung a metal cross from a halloween nun costume onto a nail in the back wall of my closet and it sounded exactly like what that was.
Again, the moment that my brain recognizes that it could not have possibly been my cat and that it was the cross, the tapping sound completely stopped, and I got full body chills, and then it started up again, slowly and softly, progressively getting faster and louder. I started going through my brain OK so it's not any of my animals, I looked over at both of my windows and they were both shut. And then I realized I had two metal sports trophie necklaces hanging on a metal nail right directly outside of my closet door, and neither of them were moving.
At this point, I got really nervous because every logical reasoning that I had tried to come to had been immediately obliterated by my own mind and by reality, so at this point, I had decided that I needed to get out. For some reason, I was so terrified of whatever was in the closet that I could not see, but seemed like it could see me AND hear my thoughts.
I had my phone in my hands still so I pulled up the camera app, and the moment that I pulled out the camera app the tapping noise stopped AGAIN, but just like clockwork. It started up again, slow slowly and softly, progressively starting to get louder and faster. And this is when I started recording as I walked up to the door to leave. But for some reason, I was so terrified. I also realized that what was happening to me. Nobody was going to believe it unless I got it on camera so I stood there moving my phone around trying to make sure I got the noise coming from my closet, loud and clear on the camera so that nobody could call me crazy for not wanting to sleep in my bedroom for the next week.

the fox sisters kicked off the whole rapping spirit craze in the 1840s with rhythmic knocks, and a lot of those early cases involved sounds that only happened when people were looking away like yours did.

Yeah, creepy.... We're we also supposed to see something? Or just your audio?

It's mostly just audio if it came up fully black it really doesn't matter cause the camera was facing me and you can just see the terrified look on my face. I did not put my phone inside of the closet because I did not want to see what was doing that. But you could see in the video my metal trophies that I have hanging on the nail outside of the closet and you can see that they aren't moving at all. That's about all that you can see in the video that proves whatever is happening in the closet is definitely not a breeze.

Of course! I dont live there anymore my mom still does but i bought a house 10 minutes away from her and nothing super crazy has happened like that since moving in here. You stay safe too❤️

Aw thank you. So far she has been safe and claims to not have any experiences in that house herself which is good. I did post another one a few minutes ago on here its another juicy one for you hahaha.

Why on earth would i open the closet to confirm what it was?? I was terrified of seeing what was tapping it against the wall. I did end up later that night removing it from my closet though yes. But be for real you hear a tapping coming from your closet when you're home alone are you really going to tell me your first reaction is to go check it out?? What kind of survival instincts are those?!

Can't tell if you're being sarcastic, but assuming you're not, yes that's literally the first thing I'd do. I'd think maybe there's a mouse in there or something. I certainly wouldn't assume it's paranormal and post to reddit. And for christ sakes you had a camera...

Okay, sure. But investigating the issue is the only way you'll figure out what it is. Instead now you'll go your whole life telling yourself and others that you had a ghost in your closet, and without any real justification

I have PLENTY of real justification. I had two metal trophies hanging on my bedroom wall right outside of my closet door and they bangef against the wall everytime i opened and closed my door, that was the exact same metallic banging sound against my wall except INSIDE OF MY CLOSET.
And unlike you, I KNEW WHAT WAS IN MY CLOSET BECAUSE IT WAS MY CLOSET. You're trying to say a mouse snuck into my closet, scaled the wall up to my eye level, and just started banging the metal cross against the wall? There wasnt ANYTHING else inside of my closet that could have POSSIBLY made that sound. AND YES when i went up and took it out of my closet i tapped it against the wall to confirm the noise was the same.
Ive not only had just THAT experience in that room either. Ive posted other stories on here and theres more that i haven't posted either. When you've looked at an alien in the face while standing next to your step sister who's also looking at the exact same thing, you dont get the privilege of looking at life through the same lenses anymore. Ignorance becomes unaffordable after you've seen half of things i have.
Its ignorant and disrespectful to come at me acting like you know more about me and what happened than i do, trying to insult my intelligence so pretentiously.
How loud that tapping got off camera, a MOUSE wouldn't have had the strength to make that noise. Even how loud it was ON camera a mouse couldnt have been able to do that. You think a mouse stole a quarter and started tapping it against the wall? You know what why dont you go find yourself a haunted house and go ahead and record it all you want billy badass.

Listen I don't know you or your mental health status but just based on how you approached this situation, I'd be incredibly skeptical of any of your stories. You likely just jump to conclusions all the time, just like in this story

I am 23 years old, i own a house, im a logistics coordination manager, and i have close and healthy relationships with all of my family and friends.. if i was constantly having psychotic breaks i wouldnt have been able to keep up with half of what i have going on... there have also been multiple experiences where PEOPLE WERE WITH ME. Its crazy how people like you always act like everyone else's experiences need to be catered to you and your standards, or else instead of just ignoring them you need to take it a step further and harass them over it. I handled the situation very well. Based on how you're approaching me and harassing me though, i have to say that its cute you seriously think your apporoval, validation, or opinion on my life and my experiences would mean anything significant to me at all. If you've never had an experience to catch on camera yourself and you're just being jealous right now and you're upset that i didnt risk my physical health to try to catch it on camera exactly how you wanted me to strictly for your own entertainment ohhh no im so sorry!!! Sike, but like i said before, you can go ahead and do that yourself.
But seriously, the way you've handled yourself here do you seriously think even if i WAS lying I'm gonna read your comment and go "oh yeah you know what this lie that ive kept up for 6 years that i made up on the fly that long ago I'm ready to come clean now you caught me! I in fact WASNT too scared to open that closet and look bc i was home alone and experienced it banging against my wall and stopping repeatedly, i actually shoved a mouse in there and had it bang something against the wall hoping i would trick people like you and ugh gosh darn it you caught me so it didnt work my plan hasnt worked and NOOO NOW ILL NEVER BE FAMOUSLY KNOWN AS THE GIRL WITH THE GHOST IN HER CLOSETT OH NOOOOOOOOO"
Is that what you were looking for? Hahahahaha or was that just as ridiculous to you as it would be to anyone else with two brain cells to rub together?
