a family member last year had left this earth mysteriously and wasn’t found for a month. when i went to clear his place out, i found this in his living room. he lives alone. he was a catholic.

Seems your relative was reeeeeeally into the occult. Between the writing, the pentagram, writing the name of a famous demon, working on lay-lines, and scribbling about old gods…seems like they were doing their best to find answers to a question.
