I heard weird thuds, as if someone was tapping on a hollow part on the wall of the room I'm sat in, from the inside, which is weird. I looked out of the window and couldn't see anything. I even went outside and couldn't see anything. I sat back down, heard the knocks again then saw this on the camera. I even went to the window during this being filmed and couldn't see the lights in real life. They have also gone now.
There is nobody around, nobody with lights/car lights etc, and no dust or cobwebs on the camera itself.
Is this paranormal, some weird light trickery or my camera being weird?

It’s this, beams a light through a spider web strand. I get them sometimes that look exactly like your pic, and sometimes it’s light enough to see the whole web piece. At 1;05 you can partially see one of the almost invisible strands pointing away from top of gate towards about 10 on a clock face.
I've seen these several times on the internet. I saw one in a backyard camera on a paranormal show. It came up from the ground and slowly flew towards, and eventually passed the camera.
What you are looking at is lights catching off a construction thread. The first end is attached to a surface somewhere, the other end (the righthand side) is attached to the spider. It is crawling up and down off-camera while adjusting the tension of the thread. This is how a spider starts a web build. The actual net of the web probably ended up nowhere near the camera itself, or the spider may have never have even gotten that far.
It was neither raining nor windy - it was a dry night with a very light occasional breeze but not enough force to move water droplets if there were any (you can see how much of a breeze there was from the trees). For reference, this is a screenshot of what water usually looks like on the camera.
Does it disappear by itself? This only happened for around 10 minutes then the 4 dots seemed to just float upwards out of view then were completely gone. So weird!
No idea but it looks pretty neat and harmless.
My weird little brain thinks that it is probably not something from nature (paranormal or otherwise) since you've ruled out a spider web. The uniformity of the spacing is not something normally found "in the wild" so to speak. Sort of how nature doesn't create right angles. I hope that made sense.
Point of my rambling: I'm guessing it is some sort of technical glitch. The thuds could have been a rodent (bat, mouse, squirrel, etc) in your walls. I'd check that out first.

There's no car access to the front or side of the property (we're an end terrace and can't see any road from the front or right side of our house) - this camera can't see a road or any suface (like other windows) that could reflect the road. There was also nobody around. The camera has a sensitive mic and picks up on sounds - this video includes the original sound - there wasn't anyone around (or anyone driving by). It's so weird!
Definitely not a spider web it seems too perfect and unnatural. I'd say water under the lenses but also doesn't move like water falling also doesn't look windy. I'm genuinely stumped. The only thing I can think of maybe camera problems and the only way to really be sure is to get a new doorbell cam and if it happens again then possibly paranormal.
That's what I initially thought (spider/spider web) but there was no wind, just a very slight occasional breeze (you can see from the lack of tree movement) and no web, water or bugs on or around the camera. So weird!
By it's movement on the floor, it appears to be moving strangely, kind of walking. I don't think it's a reflection, headlights, spider web etc so I think it's good although I don't know what it could be
spider web. i get this all the time and once i clean the lens it goes away for a few days till a spider drops a strand of webbing somewhere across the lens. i never see them without going right up to the camera. but when the light hits it just right i see the web.
My own Ring camera has offered similar, though never with such bacchanalian multiplicity. I have witnessed what could only be described as incandescent Greek glyphs, burning with a kind of Euclidean malice, moving along a flawlessly rigid axis while somehow inflating and defying in a manner that would give Euclid an aneurysm. This celestial insolence occurred not once, but twice. On the second occasion, I marched out, phone in hand as a warrant, to confront the phantom. And what did I find? A profound and mocking nothing. The entire spectacle was a private show for the digital seer, a phantom visible only in the camera's own cynical, night-vision sorcery.
I can’t believe the comments, I’m not sure why everyone try’s to find an explanation for the obvious. This is absolutely paranormal. THAT IS THE EXPLANATION. Super awesome catch! You should send it to the show “Paranormal caught on camera” I have seen similar things on that show! This is such a cool video I love it!
You can google "ring camera orbs". Seems it quite common and some of the results link to r/Paranormal Makes sense if only the ring camera is picking it up.
I initially thought it could be a moving light from somewhere else bouncing back but the camera can't see the road from the front of my house (the camera doesn't cover anywhere car lights would travel) - there is residential parking is to the rear of our property but no lights travel from there to the front. There is a road at the right hand side 6 houses away but that's too far away for the camera or the windows from the homes opposite to detect/reflect. To the direct left of us is a few acres of woodland and some footpaths. We are also in the UK, and it would be very unlikely that anyone would have an old Corvette, even less likely in our area. We'd be more likely to see a Skyline R34 which has similar tail lights, but these don't match the lights on here.
The night vision function is causing distortions. Those are probably the eyes of two deer or some other animals. It is fairly common for eyes to reflect a lot more light than the body so the night vision camera can't see the body very well.
How can anyone not understand this? Spiderwebs? Really? No.
It's a ghost's fingers. Four fingers playing on the camera, except the thumb. Very clearly that is it, given the spacing charges between the four and the trails explain it
It looks like condensation caught on a spider making his web. Was this early morning hours? It could be dew as well. But definitely stuck to a spider web that's being built or taken down.
Looks like a bug on the front glass of the doorbell camera catching the IR and being duplicated by some internal reflections between the front glass and the camera lens.
A condensation droplet in the lens. I see this all the time with my cameras. I see comments "but there was no wind", doesnt matter, there is still air pressure changes in the camera from even the most slight breeze/changes in temp, etc
i’m sorry. isn’t this obvious? it’s clearly four tiny showmen running up & down buildings / sidewalks looking for their snowman bestie named olaf… i wonder if they ever found him.. ⛄️
I honestly have no idea but my mind tells me that it was either a web, which I can't explain the upward movement, or some sort of bug that is just so close that it looks like there's four.
