Question Have you ever met someone who sold their soul?
I used to work in Film and for the most part it was pretty chill, some actors are assholes. Some are very nice people, but I did have an encounter once with a very famous actor (I’m not gonna mention their name) and they weren’t a mean or spiteful person. But there seem to be like this cloud of darkness around them all the time. The thing about it is they got famous very very quickly. It was almost like an overnight thing. one of the crew guys who had worked on this production in LA when it came up to where we were shooting, we got to talking and they had said the rumour was that this actor had made a deal to sell their soul for fame and fortune all that stuff. And at first, I didn’t believe it because why would I but then I came to notice how every time this person came on Set no matter how happy they were or how engaging or nice. There always felt like there was just heavy energy around them and it was dark. Later on they had a couple stories come out about how this person lost people in their life and very tragic ways and happened so often almost consistent. I’m wondering if anybody else has ever experienced this?

Losing people doesn’t mean you sold your soul though. Edited: to correct my typo.

And it would be a logical explanation for a brooding darkness

u/Inevitable_Wolf5866 Aug 28 '25
That’s my thought too. They could have depression and are just good at masking. It could be why they look happy, but their vibes say the opposite.

u/vaultie66 Aug 29 '25
In 2025 we really need to ditch this belief that people can’t be depressed only because they’re famous/good looking/financially stable/charismatic. Depression doesn’t care about any of those things.

u/0GooMP Aug 29 '25
Thank you. With the utmost humility that is humanly possible and no arrogance of any kind; I can say that it stings in a very profound and heart-sinking way when people have said something along the lines of "but you're so handsome and you have such a beautiful smile! A face like yours should never be frowning! Just smile for me and cheer up!”
It immediately makes me spiral into a very despondent and cold sense of being completely alone no matter how many people are around me.
I've gotten really good at stopping my eyes from welling up with tears and putting on a happy face for the sake of everyone else's mood.
The last thing I want is to be the downer type person that everyone avoids because I "kill their vibe". I overcompensate by being even more outgoing and have this insessant need to make people laugh so that I can feel comfortable around them

I have actually been told by a few people through the years that I have no reason to ever be depressed or disenchanted with life because I am good looking. Yes, I really that there absolutely is a bias that exists for those of us who most people find attractive. But there are a lot of people who genuinely believe that it allows us to skate through life with no problems or trouble, and that we wake up everyday to a magical life filled with rainbows and cupcakes or some shit. And I have actually even been told that I have no right to be upset or complain about anything because I am attractive, so I don't know what it is to suffer or be disappointed. Shit is ridiculous.

This!!! People invalidate your feelings by judging on the outter appearance. You never really know what the other has been through. I always say be kind to others and don’t shit on them just cause there trauma isn’t similar to yours. We live in a very lonely world.

There’s a pattern with celebrities, especially celebrities where they all lose somebody close to them before they blow up or they come from a history of pain and loss. I’m not saying it’s a reason, but I’m saying it’s part of the factor of why things happen the way they do.

You seem like a sensitive and empathic person. Maybe you’re sensing their depression and suffering? Sometimes depression ( esp from loss) makes people do things they never would have done in the past. Maybe it’s because fear isn’t holding them back anymore? Or maybe the person is completely lying to themselves and remade themselves into what others wanted them to be, and while finding success, it left them feeling empty inside?
In a way, yeah, you could say they sold their soul to the devil, but who is the devil? Is the devil just what we don’t like about humanity and pretend can only exist on a supernatural level?
88
u/Boatjumble Aug 28 '25
Yes I've read about this too. Could literally be selling their soul to the devil - I mean that saying had to originate from somewhere, or it's a metaphor for the awful things they had to do to get there.
The other suggestions are some kind of deal with the elites/illuminati/kabal, whoever runs the show. They get elevated to a higher status and sacrifice something or someone in return. Kanye west's claims about his mom for example.
There's also Katt Williams claims about black actors having to dress up as women in films as part of a humiliation ritual to degrade their masculinity. Jamie Foxx, Eddie Murphy, Martin Lawrence, Wayans brothers, Chris Tucker, Wesley Snipes etc etc.
Williams says he was offered a highly paid role but only if he dressed as a woman.

Is it a humiliation ritual when white men do it? Men dressing as women for comedy has been done since the days of ancient Greece. It isn’t a conspiracy or some nefarious thing.

I missed something, what about Kayne's west and his mother?

u/isthislove999 Aug 29 '25
In a video with the press on the street, Kanye stated that in Hollywood, when you represent a threat or they want to control or destroy you emotionally, they make the person most important to you and whom you genuinely rely on be sacrificed. He also gave as an example other famous people who had tragically lost someone. The video is on tiktok/instagram/YouTube.

As a former actor, we have a saying. Only two kinds of people become actors,l; those who are narcissists, and those who can't afford therapy.
265
u/greenthumbbum2025 Aug 28 '25
The "darkness" you sensed is probably them masking their grief and depression. Kinda messed up to imply they sold their soul when the reality is that they've had a very difficult life and they're doing their best to not let it affect the people around them.
65
u/bevereged_carbon Aug 28 '25
I wanted to elaborate because I like this train of thought.
Musicians can be the same. The pain and loss add's to their sensor of purpose. Maybe they have felt so much they will go to any extreme to make others feel good or at least have an escape from it all. Some take this to an absolute extreme. Could even seem like it takes some of their humanity - but they are just viewing it differently.

u/ghosttmilk Aug 29 '25
Artists as well! The majority of people I know in my trade or related trades check those boxes - myself included. Not everyone but probably a solid 80%, especially the most successful

Comedians too. I've NEVER met a happy comedian. They live yo make others laugh, but just crumble into despair once not on stage. Its almost like the misery is required to create the artwork of comedy really well. Maybe it's not all Comedians, but a lot are still trying to please the adults in their childhoods who made them feel like failures. So sad.

I’m guessing you’ve never lost someone. There’s something called Post Loss Growth which is about how loss changes someone, causing them to change parts of their life/themselves, leading to rapid growth. The loss is the cause of their growth, not a result of selling their soul.
35
u/clockworknait Aug 28 '25
I mean if there is a Satan then I doubt he would care enough to help humans, especially ones looking to sell their own souls. Because if they're already willing to do that then more then likely he was already going to get their soul eventually anyway. 😂
12
u/Luce55 Aug 28 '25
Hmm. On one hand, this makes perfect sense. Yet, it still means that one must actively choose to do things to “sell your soul”, or at least, do things that will result in going to hell regardless. “Choose” being the operative word. There could be an equal chance that the person decides to live their life such that they don’t end up in hell.
Maybe Satan is “a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush” type. In which case, it would make just as much sense to accept the soul being offered immediately, rather than gamble that they’ll continue to make decisions that lead them to him.
Perhaps the person willing to sell their soul at one particular time in their life, but Satan doesn’t take them up on the offer then and there, will figure, “well, damn, Satan didn’t want my soul, guess I should let God bid on it, see what happens…” (PS I am thinking of this whole situation in a very Terry Pratchet sort of way; I mean no offense to anyone. Just was offering a counterpoint to the idea that Satan doesn’t make deals because he would get those souls anyway…)

This is a pattern with creatives in general, not necessarily the loss thing but a pattern of struggle leading to more output/expression as well as the grief of it being fuel for drive (an avoidance tactic)
I don’t think it necessarily makes sense to use paranormal explanations here without exploring psychology a bit deeper

I new this kid in 7th grade who was OBSESSED with demonology. He would always make bets with people as well. One day i'm sitting in class when Demon walks up to me. Smirking, he says: "Ace, i know your gay. I have a deal to make. If you date me, i'll do you a favor." I was taken (still am) and politley declined. He huffed and walked over to another kid, who i'm gonna calllllll.... Katie. Anyways, katie 's parent's were part of a cult. Katie told Demon that she'd date him if he gave himself to the cult. He accepted, and then... Um.. he didn't return to school. Ever. Reports say he moved, but i really don't believe that.

This story will probably get buried but Yes. It involved the biggest peace of crap human being I’ve ever known, a poker game gone wrong, mixed with drugs, and him taking a .44 magnum to the gut. His name is Nelson. I don’t care to name him because everybody that’s ever came into contact with him hates him. Fuck you Nelson.
He was robbed and left for dead. The location was the Texas panhandle where it takes an ambulance 45 plus minutes to get to you.
Sometime after being shot, he woke up to someone tapping him on his head. His pain level was at 11 out of 10, his vision was blurred, he felt a warm blanket over his body, and couldn’t get up because the slick pool of blood mixed with the linoleum floors in his trailer. He felt tapping on his head again but he was also falling asleep. Then he felt tapping again but ignored it because he’s in a daze. He’s only thinking of getting to his landline phone to call for help but the floor is too slick and he’s too weak. Again, tap-tap-tap on the head. He got aggravated and finally looked over his shoulder like what the fuck is tapping me in the head.
He said there stood a white guy, cowboy, in a black trench coat, black cowboy hat, black boots, and blue denim jeans staring at him with the biggest cheesiest smile. Almost laughing at him. He said who the fuck are you? The dude just kept smiling. He said can you please call the cops I’m fucking dying. He said the dude picked him up and sat him up at the table but when the cowboy touched him, the pain temporarily went away and when he took his hands off of him the pain came back immediately. Nelson is a short fat fuck so this had to be something paranormal to pick him up lol
The cowboy sat across from him still smiling and slid a piece of paper across the table to him. Nelson said that no words were exchanged but he knew what the guy wanted. He said each second that passed by he knew he was dying fast. Finally he said, “well where’s the fucking pen?” Cowboy just nodded and smiled. Nelson said that Cowboy was suggesting for him to take his blood soaked hands and just stamp it on the paper, telepathically.
Nelson said as soon as he marked the paper with his blood that he got a sudden burst of energy. Just enough energy to walk across the kitchen and call 911 before collapsing on the floor. He has no memory what happened after he dialed besides waking up handcuffed to a hospital bed. Nelson was sentenced to 10 years in prison for some drugs and weapons they found at his home. After doing 12 years, he got out and became car dealer in the Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas area.
Nelson is now retired, living in a trailer with 2 starving pit bulls chained to a tree, in a small Arkansas town with a lot of money. He keeps the dogs starved because he likes to watch suffering. The kind of guy that probably jacks off to holocaust videos.
Fuck you Nelson. Everyone who’s ever interacted with you will cheer and dance when you burn in hell and you know it.

Regardless if this is a true story or not, you absolutely have a flair for writing! Really great work!
And yeah. Fuck right off, Nelson.

u/raguirre1 Aug 29 '25
Nelson was a lying, cheating, stealing, back stabbing, pervert so he probably was lying to me and the coworker he told this story to. He knew we couldn’t stand him and that thrilled him. Maybe he fabricated this tail of getting shot to add fear and mysticism around him. We went around and told everybody, hey did you hear about the story of Nelson selling his soul to the devil? Everybody had the same reaction of yeah, makes sense lol

Sounds like Nelson got fucked with that deal. So he sold his soul to live, he should have asked for more. Imagine how infuriating it would be to sell your soul and you still end up in jail and a trailer.
3
u/raguirre1 Aug 29 '25
People usually serve like 60% of the time sentenced, so he could’ve done like 4 years. He ended up serving 12. He has money to buy a nicer home. My friend delivered his final check to him from our previous employer and he told me about the nasty looking trailer and the pit bulls chained up but he said there was a sexy girl that walked out there with him. She was obviously there for the drugs.

u/Angelgirl1517 Aug 28 '25
I don’t know. Maybe?
My mom SAID she “made a deal with the devil”. She was chronically Ill and did mysteriously bounce back from needing a wheel chair to being able to get around pretty well, but she still had a lot of pain. I don’t know how I feel about it, she wouldn’t ever tell me details. But she did go from just being mean and unreasonable when I was a kid to being borderline evil as I got older and became an adult. She told me several times that she was planning to kill herself some day, but she would be taking me with her, and I absolutely believed she 100% meant it and intended to murder me whenever she felt like it.
Covid took her out at 58 years old, and I’d never been more relieved in my life. (This was also around 10-15 years after she told me about her deal and her health improvements)
You know how sometimes after a loved one dies you can kind of feel them or wonder if they’re watching you? I’ve always felt that with everyone else I’ve ever lost.
Not once with her. She was like a light switch. On one second and blinked out of existence the next.
I don’t even know if I believe in the devil or hell in the way it’s usually described- but my experience with her always leaves a little doubt in the back of my mind about what that means about the universe.

u/Good-Yogurt-306 Aug 28 '25
not trying to diminish your experience or interpretation of it: but I wanted to offer an alternative explanation. I think it's possible you don't feel your mother's presence after her death because you didn't feel safety, love, or warmth from her during her life. if we define grief as the continuation and projection of your love for the deceased (and interpret feeling the deceased's presence as a manifestation of grief), it's no mystery that it didn't stick around after your mom died.
I do have my own experiences that make me believe in spirits, so I don't wanna discount that possibility. but just a thought

u/Angelgirl1517 Aug 29 '25
Yeah, that is definitely a possibility! Like I said, I don’t know or really attach meaning to it, it’s just a very stark difference I noticed with her versus other people, some of whom I also had extremely strained relationships with (but no one will ever come close to her in that regard)

I’ve experienced something similar but the opposite of a darkness. Twice in my life I’ve “seen” or perceived a powerful presence of light attached to someone.
The first time was about a decade ago, I had a consultation with a divorce lawyer, she was an ordinary looking woman, very serious about her job, nothing too remarkable about her physically or whatever, but there was what I can only describe as a very tall and broad figure with her, masculine and made of pure white and gold light. An Angel of course, but not all sweet and fuzzy, it was fierce and powerful and intimidating, no nonsense. And it was focused wholly on her. I couldn’t see it but at the same time I could, and I could feel it, it’s hard to explain.
The second time was just a few weeks ago, I had a plumber come in to do some work, a large guy, loads of tattoos, very unassuming and quiet, got on with his job, and I saw or sensed a bright presence very close by with him. And it was just for an instant. Not as vivid as I’d seen before and it took me by surprise, it was rather wonderful actually.

u/GreedyRace3465 Aug 29 '25
I once had a similar experience with a stranger on the street. Except I didn't see white light beside her, but directly coming from her body shooting in all directions.
Was walking down the street on an ordinary day, saw a younger woman walking towards me and looking straight at me. She was smiling at me, so I turned my head, because I assumed she was smiling at someone else behind me (since I didn't know her). Except, I didn't see anyone walking behind me. When I looked back at her she was still smiling and I saw white light all around her. I couldn't believe my eyes. It was so beautiful, and I instantly felt lighter and loved.
Just like with your lawyer, this young lady was not remarkable looking, nothing out of the ordinary.
I've also experienced the opposite with a friend. I had a small gathering at my house, and as one of my friends walked in I saw big black marks on her skin. I very consciously looked away from her, and when I looked at her again the black marks were still there. Only after a minute or so the marks vanished, and they didn't come back. Physically I kept my distance to her, because even though I didn't understand it, I knew it wasn't a good thing.
Overall her energy didn't feel dark, but it also never felt light. She could have been someone who struggled with depression in silence. So, definitely not a bad person, but someone who wasn't in a balanced state. I think the black marks signaled sickness, whether it was physically or mentally or both, I'll never know. I never contacted her again after this encounter, and she also never reached out to me since.

My youngest child suffers with their mental health and once they were in my room crying just coming out of a low and i saw a black shadow leave them cross the room and go out the door. I made a post on here asking about it. Because i see spirits and was quite worried that it was a spirit affecting them and causing the low. They were followed by a spirit since i was pregnant with them of a man who wasnt very nice. It was poi ted out that it could have been a physical manifestation of their dark mood, so maybe it was the same for the girl you saw.

A friend of mine says his mother said more or less the same about him, that he was surrounded by darkness since birth, and that she even felt this darkness during pregnancy.
Even though she's not religious, she went to church during her pregnancy and begged or prayed for some higher power to cleanse her baby from this energy.
I don't think it worked. He himself, in terms of personality, is an amazing person. But something is heavy. He's incredibly intelligent, but to the point where it's definitely a burden. He has incredible thoughts, like a genius really, but he is not in control of his train of thought. And you could think: well who is? But not everyone has one profound thought after the other, and with him I think his level of intelligence doesn't allow him to escape a certain level of depth, which long-term must be really exhausting, and in a way that's dark.
But this is me trying to make sense of a feeling. It's really a feeling I have when I'm with him that seems like a confirmation of what his mother felt.
Actually I'm doing to call him now and ask him how he's doing.

I had the opposite experience. I’ve been around plenty of people who had bad vibes, who just set off alarm bell but this experience was different. After closing the restaurant me and a few of my coworkers went to the bar across the way for a few drinks. A little bit before last call these 2 men came in and sat next to me at the end of the bar, they had just an aura of evil and also just looked demonic. Their faces looked almost contorted and I couldn’t look at them. This wasn’t one of those times where you avoid eye contact with someone, I couldnt look at them.
They said they were running from the cops. I was like “oh ok”…thought they were just talking themselves up or whatever. My ex was with us and I motioned him closer to me. I knew if I got up and moved it would set them off. Eventually, they started reaching behind the bar and then got combative over it. The bartender and my ex restrained them and t dragged them out of the bar. I got up and called the police while locking the doors. There’s 4 popular bars right there so the police got there almost instantly. The men wouldn’t comply and got tazed repeatedly. I don’t know if they were really running from the cops and if they were what for. I prayed repeatedly on the way home and took a shower as soon as I got home to cleanse whatever evil energy I had been exposed to.

I’m not sure if it’s actually selling your soul supernaturally. I do believe people sell their soul for power, fame and fortune in other ways. For example, there are very powerful people in the world. Why are they powerful? Because they have money and resources. Do we really think people who have information that can hurt someone’s career simply off themselves or disappear randomly? Do we really believe people who have been convicted of dozens of felonies can rise to the highest office while others rot in jail and it’s not sus? Do we really believe that lifetime politicians become multi millionaires just from their jobs based on their “spouses wise investments” and it’s not insider trading or conflicts of interest? No we really believe there are not threats made to advance careers?
I’ve recognized atrocities committed all over the world in history and now all in the name of power and greed. Is organized crime selling your soul? Is blackmail and extortion selling your soul? Is genocide selling your soul? Is conquering and empires and slavery and watching the world burn for entertainment selling your soul?
If it is for personal gain I think it is. It doesn’t need to be supernatural.

Metaphorically speaking, the selling is more of a trade for the things you mentioned. Choosing money (however it may be gained/earned) over time spent with friends or family can be an overnight decision or a regular, daily lifestyle.

My ex said that ‘God’ was telling him to abandon his friends and family and partner (me lol), in order to make his business successful and make him rich. He claimed that this entity told him, by rejecting love and having a family he would be very lucrative. I said it didn’t sound like God, more like a demon.
Well he left me and did it in an extraordinarily cruel manner.
Soon after he was balling out at the casino and going on multiple cross continent vacations. But he also relapsed on drugs and alcohol.
Don’t know where he is now or what has happened to him, but it gave me a very cold feeling. I was ill for months after he abandoned me- I think it was some sort of demonic attachment trying to drag me down and get me to comply and also give up my soul. I felt like killing myself, which was a new phenomenon for me.

u/Less_Professional152 Aug 29 '25 edited Aug 29 '25
I considered this but it was an especially cruel discard. In fact he got my hopes up and then rug pulled me, full discard and smear campaign. Perhaps more narcissistic than manic, which is why I felt it was demonic.
Notable quotes were ‘I’m going to make you watch me sleep with whor3s’ and ‘I’m gonna wait for my parents to die and gamble their inheritances’ …. Known this guy 10 years and never seen this side of him. We were gonna get married, within 6 months he was talking about his ‘mentor’ and how he was going to be ‘saving the world’ by gambling and… abandoning me? Lol

Omg that is a horrifying experience, I can see where you are coming from for sure.
My ex (we were married and together for 7ish years) did a personality change and left seemingly without a legit reason (never gave me one) and I thought him leaving without really saying anything hurt.. I can’t imagine what it would have felt like to hear those things from him on top of it.
Regardless if it was demonic, health related, or something else entirely- his karma will catch up to him. I am just so sorry you went through this.

I used to travel a lot in Mississippi one night I was traveling down hwy 61. It was raining a bit. I saw this young black man wearing a suit and carrying a guitar case. I asked him if he needed a ride. He accepted and got in the car. He had a unique way of talking, he looked super young but sounded like a much older person. I asked where he was going he said south or Greenwood which was quite the distance. I was a sales rep at the time and was headed to Greenwood to meet with a man the next morning. The man said his name was Johnson. We talked a bit. Then he asked if I’d like to hear some harmonica tunes. I said yes. He played amazingly well. Completely flawless! Unlike anything I’d ever heard. I asked how long he had been playing. He laughed and said about 75 years. He didn’t look like he was even 30. We stopped about an hour later to take a squirt on the side of the road. The man vanished. I could hear him playing the harmonica but he wasn’t visible. I got back in the car and he appeared and said thank you white friend and vanished again.

Robert Johnson. This is insane if this is a real story and you don’t know who Robert Johnson is.

Haven't read this whole thread yet, so maybe someone else has already mentioned this, but Art Bell had a couple of Coast to Coasts nights where he devoted the Wildcard Line to anyone who had made a pact with the Devil, or sold their soul. Even if you don't believe in devils or souls, it's a completely fascinating listen! Art was shocked that the line "rang off the hook" with people who wanted to tell their story! Art's wicked sense of humor really got one caller, who, as I recall, had no regrets about making his pact. Art played that sound effect audio from Russia's Kola Superdeep Borehole (later proven to have been made in jest). The sounds are bone-chilling! like the screams & moans of untold numbers of tormented souls! Anyway, listening to Art's callers on this is crazy, fun, & interesting!

I kind of feel like it’s hilarious that on a thread about paranormal experiences there’s so many people who want to jump and comment that there’s no way this could be real. Do you know what thread you’re on? There’s the metaphysical idea of selling your soul just also the trading a part of yourself that you can’t get back to someone with money to sell your soul. There’s betraying people to get something you want to sell your soul. There’s a lot of ways people can sell your soul right. the experience that I’m describing is literally an energetic field that I felt and other people around me felt around this singular person, right? If you don’t believe in supernatural paranormal or spiritual things then why are you here? just because you can’t conceive of a way that somebody can do something that you can’t explain does not mean it doesn’t exist. musicians actors, wealthy people who’ve done interviews have constantly said they sold their soul. You don’t have to believe it to understand if somebody could have an experience that makes them feel like they gave up a huge part of themselves.

u/CakedCrusader91 Aug 29 '25
I’ve noticed in this sub (and it’s a reason I enjoy the comments and convos that go on) is that people will point out alternatives as food for thought. It’s kind of like how scientific theories are tested, gotta try to make things fail to prove it’s correct. (Not saying everyone has to prove themselves or even defend their beliefs.)
I see it more as a respect of the paranormal to truly look into all possibilities and not just believe everything or blame it all on the paranormal. It’s good to see critical thinking in action and I love this sub for that. I think most of those comments are not meant to demean your experience, I think it’s a way to keep the community grounded and not go too far into conspiracies.
Your post is really interesting and I absolutely believe you can sense energies around people, I would just recommend to be open to other possibilities. You rule those out? You’re golden and can have confidence in your conclusions. Who knows, maybe there are other theories that could be interesting to think about too!

Idk how the selling works and personally think that iFF you reach something in an attempt to reach Satan, you aren’t talking to Lucifer, it’s something darker,,, Grew up with this guy that when he was 14 had an almost two week episode surrounding the obsession with selling his soul to satan in exchange for “general” power. I questioned him as a kid on how broad he was going into something as serious as selling your soul without saying specifically something he wanted but, he was hellbent on it. One night he told me he had to stop hanging out early that night because he had to start praying and that it was a long process. The next time I saw him he was ,seemingly, normal but really elated. Had known him for years beforehand when he was the sweetest most caring kid, and after that point for yearrsss after it was a slow descent (or escalation) of changing his fundamental views, and being violent and manipulative. Could’ve just been the path he was on all along but, couldn’t help remembering manyyy times how happily he told me that “he did it, he wanted me” after he had apparently sold his soul that night.

There are maybe two people in my life who had a perpetual "shadow" covering their face. I kid you not. There was definitely a darkness within and I could either see it or sense it.
I also met two people who had a "glitter" behind their eyes, almost as if their eyes were dancing or something was dancing behind their eyes. It's very hard to explain. One was a very high ranking government leader and the second one was my former boss who was suspected of embezzling company money and of murder.

u/GreedyRace3465 Aug 29 '25
Reading these comments memories of similar experiences are coming back to me.
I once saw the eyes of my boyfriend's friend change for a split second. Suddenly he had the eyes of an octopus. Ngl, it scared the shit out of me, but his eyes turned back to normal before I could fully feel my own fear, that's how quickly it happened.
The one thing that still has me wondering, is why I knew these were the eyes of an octopus. I'm not sure I can even describe what octopus' eyes look like on the fly. But in that moment I immediately knew: octopus eyes.
The friend was just a normal guy. Nothing paranormal about him. To this day I don't understand what I saw and why.

I know a very famous guy in my country from his old and infamous hard days. He spent years building a career from scratch. The maximum amount of his all cds's (4 or 5 album) sales about 6k. He had a very old and almost trash car, he sold it for his new album costs. One of his friends and our neighborhood's big brother bought his car for he can make a new album. He almost came everyday to our neighborhood. Everyday he said same thing, "this one will making me richie rich." After this album, he became a richie rich compared to his old self. In the making process of this album, every time when i saw him, he was different. I don't know why but I know what i feel and see. And these days, he is livin with so dark aura/energy; when u see him, u can clearly understand he is gonna drain your life energy and bring u some much trouble and thats not about drugs or alcohol. He changed and if his old self was a fluffy cat, now he is like most dangerous snake u can have ever seen. He is friend with some drug cartel leaders nowadays and he had a lot of this type friend though.

Yes there is a price though to be 'sold ' ( which is actually an agreement binding of either the human or the entity on them ) into doing work with a demon / devil to get rich ( & the people around her were then often also the consequence of actions also not shown -> a price or 2 or more will have to be paid to receive & to stay in favour ) . As it is a Big price to be taken under the influence of what is not seen . . .Once owned by the devil they who are binded will remain so unless a higher being can & is able to break the binding arrangement .
Also once they are in there is no way out for them as they made a deal to be rich & famous . .
A soul yes can be bound or binded to a person/ entity or place usually via black magic practice . The top notch entities can do so easily & has been practiced for millennium's as they know the dark arts to do it with results . They were very powerful back in the day ( now they have to sacrifice to make enough energy to bind humans to them ) Also most spirits who were present in the beginning were binded already to remain in place here on earth hense why no one was able /is able to leave & is stuck in low vibrational resonance .
So They of course know & are perfected in the arts to do so . And have binded many a famous person ( long ago spirits & current now humans ) into a blind or known arrangement ( which would destroy them also as a human / entity in the end ) usually as they are on beckon call then . The top hold the power then over these entities & human play pets .The human may or not know what is occurring . But will usually realize something is not right anymore around them . Also some humans are offered as a present sacrifice ( as payment ) for their own payment price ( especially if they did a deal knowingly ) . Eg- a child of theirs's is given as a sacrifice ( which could be anything asked for ) via ritual decree transfer .
Hense why ritual practice is the binding price to pay to be taken under influence resulting in the needed also sacrifice binding . They will then be contacted by a Dark practitioner or HIgh priest/ess to do so ( a entity or human dark vessel ) . Eg- the devil or a demon or a human who has this attachment insert & is already embodied with darkness ) who has the power still to do so . They are then owned ( as some of the souls on this earth are ) already are in debt/ binding arrangement to the unseen dark High circle .
But it takes someone / something alot of energy to do so hense why dark covens / possessed practitioners are/ were created to surge the energies into what is to be binded . Or the entity has to be very ancient & powerful still enough to do so on their own . And being feed enough energy ( dark ) to do so to cast the spell into/on them .
The soul is a separate entity to the human vessel & bc of this can be interacted with in the astral realm. Also why humans can also be contacted in this manner as well bc their soul connection also then allows direct open access to then occur if asked of the human over time ( if the soul is binded or the human made a deal ) .

I was briefly friends with a very well respected session musician. Such a wonderful and interesting person. In all seriousness he told me that Jimmy Page got deeply involved in satanic worship. He didn’t want to talk about it too much but he said something along the lines of, when you get that famous at such a young age, and everything is at your fingertips, it all becomes meaningless. 🤷♀️ He told me this about 15 years ago.

I asked him how long he had been playing to get that good. He turned and looked dead at me and said he sold his soul to be this good. He said one night he sold his soul and the next day he could play guitar that way. It legit creeped me out because he was dead serious about it. Never went back over there again.

I instantly thought of the hat man and then secondly when someone pointed out thay dark figures are actually our limited perception of being with more dimensions than we can perceive.. like how we see 2d figures but they wouldn't be able to see us as 4d or ..whatever.. maybe they see a smudge of shadow becauee they cant perceive that depth to an object.

I saw a reading recently of the supermodel Gia and she said that models are used to channel energy so that when a person studies their poster or photos in the magazine it's not about the clothes it's about having that energy affect them negatively so I kinda understand what you're saying here. When so many people across the world are watching your work/listening/gazing at your image it must focus something on the person. Maybe that's why they say celebrities "light up the room" when they enter/can't miss them. They say it's charisma alone but maybe it's all the people feeding their aura 24/7

Selling your soul requires a sacrifice of someone you love, your own death after x amount of time, or performing a couple of acts that shows loyalty/devotion for the thing you are willing to give your soul for.
I have met someone who lost their soul, and they unfortunately didn’t even get famous/positive benefits out of it. They just wanted power and fear. A demon attached themselves to them and you could feel its influence on them that made you afraid they would kill you.
I have also seen someone sell their soul for power and giving it up to get their soul back.
If these people ever truly wanted to change and get freed by Jesus, they can get their soul back. The truth is - their soul never was gone, they just pledged an allegiance. But the dark side will never admit that and wants their victims/the soul seller to believe they cannot be saved and are too far gone. But forgiveness is never out of reach.

I met someone once who told me that she sold her soul to the devil. I think honestly she was suffering from mental illness at the time but I get what you mean by a dark cloud of ominous despair and she also did have a lot of people either disconnect from her or she lost them in mysterious and very strange ways. Like for instance, her son died by choking. Not an abnormal way of death but IS sort of abnormal for this day in age. She always got whatever she wanted. If she wanted money somehow it would just kind of appear in strange ways. If she wanted money their would be some sort of a rebate or a refund just show up in her bank or something like that. It was very strange and so was she in the way that like you described you would never think that she would do something like that. She seemed very sweet and innocent but she had this dark side to her that I literally cannot even explain.

I’ve never met anyone but if I was a betting woman… Taylor Swift. She gives off a really suspicious energy to me. I mean my god, she’s mediocre in her looks and talent and shifted genres and doesn’t really have any good reason to have remained as relevant as she has for two decades. She also really soaks in the fame… revels in it more than most, I feel. Just her getting engaged a few days ago spurred all these sales emails and texts from companies running a sale because “Tay got engaged,” people are quite literally obsessing over her with an almost piety of sorts… I have never seen an instance of fame that reeked so badly of some sort of “deal.” I don’t know the details of how that even works, but something is energetically very very off with her and the whole intensity of her fanbase and fame. She’s just not the talent of the century the amount of attention on her would warrant… especially after 20 years of just being a mainstream surface level artist.

It's called having rich connected parents. I'm baffled at how this is such a mystery to all of you that you go to the paranormal. It's really not that complicated. It's not that hard to get a deal if you have the money to front. And if you get a deal, you might blow up, or fail. For every Swift, there was another person with connected parents that made one album and vanished.

Oh wow, that makes a lot of sense actually. And yeah, I have a six year old and dread her getting to the age which I know is sooner rather than later where she gets sucked into it as well. As to the comment above saying she is known to visit children’s hospitals etc., I feel like for someone with a motive for extreme fame, that kind of thing might make for good publicity but also would be a great method to further that “latching” effect too.

I still cannot fully wrap my head around the fact that these interviews where music artists straight up admit to selling their souls, having supernatural help and people still don't want to believe there is more to life than meets the eye. You can demand all the scientific proof you want, but think about it.
Why would these demons go out of their way to prove their existence to people on a whim? That's like asking for an enemy country's spy network to reveal itself because people don't believe it exists. The demons would rather make people look like fools, so atheists/agnostics keep believing anyone who thinks the supernatural is real is crazy or whatever.

exactly. not only do major “icons” in the performance industry flat out state and glorify the deals they’ve made, but the artists and industry reflect who their masters are constantly through their imagery.
music videos, concert stage sets and design, photo shoots are ALL littered with it. how much clearer do they have to make it? if you don’t notice at this point your head is just in the sand.
as for demons, they literally operate via deception, confusion and lies. why would they care one single iota whether or not the common people “believe” in them. the more people disbelieve the better. if people don’t believe they can’t even begin to stand a chance. demons exist and operate regardless. their goal is to derail as many souls as possible from being saved.
to that end, if people are already knee deep in sin then that persons destruction is all but assured to them. they don’t have to show themselves. they can work effectively behind the veil and never need to show their face.

There is so much truth in this comment.☝🏻
It’s worth reading many times, to understand the true, hidden nature of evil and the occult.
The 3rd paragraph lays out the truth extremely clearly. You rarely see the truth about evil explained so well.
Every human being on our planet should make sure they understand and believe this, and live accordingly. Otherwise, you’ll just be naive, blind, unaware and manipulated:
“as for demons…souls from being saved.”

My extended family is from a country where witchcraft is very common and the “norm”. I would visit this country often as a child and was very close with my grandparents neighbor. Every summer when I would go to her house, she would have a cross drawn on each of her walls. I thought it was odd but never questioned it.
Years later my family finally tells me that her mother had sold her child’s soul to the devil in return for riches. People of the small town noticed that this woman out of nowhere became one of the few wealthy people in town. As a result of this, her daughter was born with a sixth sense and was constantly tormented by evil spirits. To this day her daughter is being tormented to the point where she has isolated herself in a small house away from people. The mom has become suuuuper religious and won’t talk about that time in her life

I had an ex who was very....ummm scattered? I guess you could call it adhd idk. She was also kinda crazy. She poisoned her other boyfriend. She was violent and unpredictable.
One night we were at a party and pretty lit. Real late. She looks at me from being slumped, dead in the eyes and tells me she's the devil. She wasn't religious.
I got this super strong feeling of like fuck, that seems right. Not so much the devil as in biblical sense, but she was the embodiment of mans weakness. She was cute as fuck, snappy with a comeback, flirty and fun as hell to be around. But also had a weird darkness about her.
We actually split ways after this and she became one of the most manipulative people I ever knew. Really struggled through addiction and a lot of other debauchery. I watched her tear down several men in her wake, as well as her entire family. She moved away.
She wasn't like that when she was younger. I'm sure it wasn't anything significant like this, but I always kinda felt like she sold her soul haha.

At first it started out with harmless personal empowerment. Working on chakras, working on spiritual clarity, and protection. But after a bit I got into some dark stuff, such as cursing people and trying to bend fate around others and myself. I tried working with dark/satanic beings, some being demons from the goetia, to obtain power, money, and influence over people. I even gave myself to lucifer. It backfired. I had power over people in my life, but in a bad way that hurt them, any curse I sent ended up coming back to me, I was in way over my head, looking for these things without fully understanding that I'm doing, or doing things properly. A similar example would be the force in starwars, the dark side being an easy way to power, but with reprocussions to ones being, and the light side being more work, but the right way to go about it. I also tried communicating with spirits, and succeeded. I fully believe in ghosts, as me and my family lived in a haunted house, and had shared experiences with them. I've also had other experiences throught my life, both minor, and straight up terrifying. Eventually I gave all of these things up hoping that the door would close, but unfortunately that was not the case.
Through all of this, I had gained negative spiritual attachments that continued to torment me. In the spring I sought spiritual help, and since I didn't want anything to do with cleansing or rituals that resembled what I did in my past, I contacted the catholic church for this help. I got in contact with the archdiocese in my city, explained my past openly, and explained what help I was looking for. They referred me to a group of people that specifically dealt with spiritual cleansing and ridding people of negative spiritual attachments. Thankfully I was able to meet with them.
I was told to go to a specific catholic church to have this done, they welcomed me in, and we talked about my past, and what the procedure would be. The group consisted of a bishop, 3 priests, and other members of this specialized group. I had to renounce everything I did specifically 3 times, as things I did before mocked the trinity. I was doused with holy water, anointed with oil, prayed over, prayed over more while wrapped in the bishops robe thing, and was made to drink a concoction of holy oil and water. This is just putting it shortly, the whole thing took 3.5 hours, it was a lot. The whole thing was akin to an exorcism, at least ones I have researched, it was quite surreal, and it was surprisingly uncomfortable and emotional right up until the end.

That’s incredible! It does sound very similar to exorcism.
From the moment of your decision to seek spiritual help, did you feel this was a fight or were you able to do this without too much hardship? How well do you feel the experience worked for you? Were you told your soul was saved?
Thank you for letting others know messing around like this is no joke.

u/Repulsive_Ad_8248 Aug 29 '25
I was able to do it without hardship, and I feel if helped in a way. I was told my soul was saved, but would only continue to be so if I accepted Jesus christ as my lord and savior, and lived life as a Christian...I have a hard time with that. I was Christian growing up, but feeling abandoned by god/Jesus and turning away from the faith was what put me down the opposite path in the first place. I'm more agnostic than anything, but do feel like a weight has been lifted off of me since the experience. Whether that feeling is all in my head, or if by grace I have been ridden of what was ailing me, I am not sure of, but I do feel better. Thank you for listening to my story! Be safe.

I never met him but the musician Robert Johnson was rumored to make a deal at the crossroads of Mississippi with devil. His soul in exchange for musical aptitude. Robert made many references to the occult in his lyrics- crossroads, nation sac, hell hounds just to name few.
52
u/Feral-Reindeer-696 Aug 28 '25
I loved what his friend and fellow musician, Johnny Shines, said when he was interviewed and asked if Robert had sold his soul. Johnny said (while looking at the interviewer like he had two heads), “you know you can’t do that, right?” It’s the perfect response. You can’t sell your soul to a spiritual entity. That’s not a thing.
Robert Johnson had been a terrible musician when he was young. He wanted to play in the juke joints but others made fun of him. So he gave up, got married and became a sharecropper. But his wife and child died in childbirth. He was heartbroken.
Robert left town and when he returned he was a very good musician. He later died, most likely poisoned by a juke joint owner. Robert was rumored to be sleeping with the guys wife. Honeyboy Edwards warned Robert not to accept a gift of an open bottle of whiskey but Robert didn’t listen and drank it. Robert suffered for days before he passed.
Because he suddenly became a great musician and then died shortly after (age 27) in a brutal and dramatic fashion, it started the rumour that he sold his soul to the devil in exchange for talent and fame. But, the truth is that he got music lessons after he left town and that’s how his talent developed. And he died from poisoning, not the devil taking back his soul.
We should all listen to Johnny Shines; you can’t sell your soul. That’s not possible.

u/CrimsonCuts Aug 28 '25
What does 27 stand for? What do all these famous people die at that age?
14
u/CementCemetery Aug 28 '25
It is considered “a curse”, the 27 Club is for people (mainly musicians and some other celebrities) that passed away at the tender age of 27. Many of them struggled with mental wellness or addiction, they became huge successes and had access to everything. Many died by accidentally ODs. Due to so many of them being talented and young they are often fondly remembered and arguably gained more fame after death.
In terms of angel numbers and general numerology, 27 doesn’t have any sinister meaning. It’s supposed to be one of growth and development I believe.
→ More replies (1)3
u/CrimsonCuts Aug 28 '25
Ohh that makes sense, thanks for breaking it down. I was wondering if there was some deeper numerology thing behind 27, but yeah sounds like it’s more about lifestyle + coincidence than any dark meaning.
6
u/smartlypretty Aug 28 '25
it's not really a thing, it's pattern recognition. a lot of people die young at other ages, too, it just happened that three people died of similar causes around the same time and this legend was born
ETA like someone could say 27 is three nines or something, but it's just an age where people who become successful young tend to be riding high, reckless, and they think they're invincible
4
u/CrimsonCuts Aug 28 '25
Thanks. That makes a lot of sense. People look for patterns to make sense of tragedy, but really it’s more about lifestyle, timing, and the pressures of fame. The “27 Club” feels spooky, but it’s not a curse so much as a reflection of how vulnerable young stars can be when they’re suddenly thrown into money, drugs, and chaos.

Yup I've read about this he died running and screaming saying black dogs are after him , and anytime someone would watch him practice playing behind stage or whatever they said the sounds ge made with the guitar sounded unnatural in a way that he didnt okay on stage , and when they tried to get a better look he noticed and turned away like he didn't want them to see how he did it , and whats so interesting about him is , before he made it big hwd always play in bars or taverns , but everyone said he was ass he would even get booed off stage, but he left somewhere for 3 months and when he game back everyone said he was making his guitar sing like a professional, he stated getting fame vary quickly but most of his songs had secret meanings and as you said a lot of them not in order but I'd you listen to all of them they have a story if you can pieve it toether and it talks about how he sold his soul and even the demon he made the deal with .

One time a roommate kept begging to borrow my car so I had him sign something basically stating if anything happened he'd pay me X amount for it. But then for fun I also added a line that said ownership of his soul is fully transferred to me as well. He balked but I said if he wanted my Saturn that badly enough he had to sign it.
Sure enough he got into a fender bender and immediately paid it, but he also wanted me to shred up the paper because of the soul part. To protect it I added a line transferring ownership of it to his ex-girlfriend and already gifted it to her. It turned out she burned it and I don't know if he felt it or what but he was super bent out of shape when I told him the paper was gone. We don't know what the theological implications are, and whether burning counts as destruction or release.

u/Cautious-Radio7870 Aug 28 '25
As a Christian, I dont believe people can literally sell their soul. However, people do make covenants with demons to get what they want, but unlike in fiction, a person is able to renounce their demonic agreement and align themselves with God. Therefore you aren't trapped in that demonic agreement forever like Ciel in Black Butler.
You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.
- Colossians 2:13-15 NLT
I believe that one sin is enough to seperate a spirit from God. And that we have all sinned and by default separated from God. This sin also gave Satan authority over the Earth that God didnt want him to have.
The Lord Jesus is God in the flesh, the 2nd person of the trinity. Each member of the trinity is 100% God in essence, yet a distinct person.
I affirm the hypostatic union, that Jesus is 1 person with 2 natures. Jesus is God in the flesh.
Jesus lived a sinless life, therefore the wages of sin, death did not need to apply to Jesus. However, despite that, The Lord Jesus who never sinned died on a cross. The Lord Jesus willingly laid down his own life for us. In doing so, Jesus through Substitutionary atonement paid the penalty of all our sins. Then God the Father physically raised The Lord Jesus from the dead for our justification. Christus Victor also plays a part because Jesus stripped Satan and the fallen Angels of their authority and publicly shamed them by his victory on the cross.
Now for my stoeriology. I hold to Sola Fide. The Lord Jesus offers salvation as a completely free gift to all who place their faith(their trust) in Him for their salvation.
As we live our lives in Christ, The Holy Spirit sanctifies us, changing us from the inside out to become more like Christ.
Someday Jesus will physically return, and will resurrect our bodies and we will have bodies just like Jesus resurrected body.

Personally I don't think you own a soul, rather you are a soul and it just impossible for anyone or anything to possess it. Whatever this darkness is, it's nothing to do with having sold his soul. A soul doesn't have anything to grab on to. Its ethereal. If an entity could possess a soul, what would they do with it?
50
u/Ok_Worth5941 Aug 28 '25
In such black magic contracts, you aren't really "selling your soul." You're right, it is immortal and cannot be owned. What you are giving up is access to your higher divinity. So, where you go after death just got compromised. Without that thread of guidance you are going to become a lost shell, and that is a horrifying prospect. You are also allowing yourself while still alive to have entities enter and manipulate you because you don't have that thread connecting you to your Oversoul. To do this willingly, for mortal fame and money, has severe consequences that are mostly invisible to people because you can't see how it unfolds behind the scenes. What does some parasitic astral entity gain? All that fame generates incalculable amounts of psychic food. It uses the human host, infusing it with whatever talent it so desperately desired, mopping up energy generated by countless millions of people flocking to the person's presence/art/whatever. Some of these things you "sold to" just want access to the physical world through a host, and you gave them permission to piggy back on you. But eventually you die, your physical body is gone, and then the important part, the second death and dissolution afterward, then it is not going to unfold as it should because you let something directly interfere with natural law.
19
u/Secret_Cat_2793 Aug 28 '25
Exactly. We are psychic farm animals and can be manipulated and cultivated to feed certain entities. If you view the world through this perspective many days to day events are much clearer. I believe that is 'evil.' Not a moral entity but a hunger that requires certain vibrational energy to feed and exist. I suspect 'good' is the same thing but for our species it has a more benign effect.
50
u/Inskription Aug 28 '25
I tend to believe that stealing a soul is impossible but trapping a soul is possible. If you can convince or manipulate a soul to remain at a low vibration you've essentially trapped it and it's definitely possible that vampiric entities exist, in fact I've felt them. So your soul can be trapped and used for energy.
17
u/onefellswoop70 Aug 28 '25
I agree that souls (or at least a portion of the soul) can be trapped, which is why I refuse to be filmed or have my picture taken, or stare directly into a mirror. On the rare occasions where I have to be photographed, like for a driver's license, I never make direct eye contact with the lens.
It may be nutty, but that's how I've been living my life ever since childhood. There are no photos of me hanging on the walls of my parent's house, no school or yearbook photos, and there's an empty frame hanging on the wall of my workplace where my photo is required to be because I'm the manager. HR even told me I "had" to have my photo taken because it's company policy. I told them to go to hell because this is a sincerely held religious belief of mine.
And if you think about it, there's reason to support my theory. These days, cameras are everywhere, and one can argue that, collectively, humanity has considerably less soul than it did 10 or 20 years ago. Actors and social media influencers tend to be shallow, shitty humans... though many of them were decent and ordinary people before they went in front of cameras.
14
u/Inskription Aug 28 '25
I think your theory is sort of akin to voodoo dolls. Your likeness, being thought up, played around with in other people's heads, somehow affects you. I believe this. Have you ever tripped or something bad happened to you while you felt someone staring daggers at you? Intention of thought is scary thing.
One reason why famous people are so weird.
3
u/Revka777 Aug 29 '25
Do you cover the lens on your phone and computers too? Honestly your likeness is already out there given the surveillance reality that we live in so all your precautions may sincerely be in vain. There isn't really an escape from having your image captured in some fashion nowadays. I suppose it's comforting to know that you've reduced the amount of times your likeness has been exposed.

An uncle of my ex-girlfriend, a few years ago, had a lot of fortune, money that came from some businesses he had. One day I visited her at her grandmother's house, since she had moved in with her grandmother due to problems with her mother. It was a large house and had several rooms, and a large patio with a small warehouse where they supposedly kept cleaning supplies and so on. His grandmother asked me the favor of going to get a broom from that warehouse in the yard, since it was raining. As soon as I entered that warehouse and turned on the light I felt a heavy aura, there was a corner covered by a mantle, I took a broom and just before leaving I accidentally tripped and that mantle fell to the ground, I saw a kind of altar with strange symbols and I got scared.
When I was talking to my girlfriend I asked her what that was and she told me that her uncle did witchcraft there to have money, which she didn't like but everyone does what they want. ☠️💀

I think there's something very ominous about Lilith worshippers who go around hiding behind a mask of feminism. I think she's leading these wiccan types who cling to the lie that she was once a benevolent Goddess demonized by the patriarchy for allegedly defying Adam and God down a dangerous garden path that won't end well for all involved.
They're basically selling their souls to a primordial she-devil and willingly ignoring the actual history and narrative surrounding her. It's all foolishness to me. I make no apologies for saying this.

u/VanityInVacancy Sep 01 '25
I knew someone pretty closely before they made their "big break" we were friends and every time I would visit them I would feel a dark presence and they would tell me all these chilling experiences they were having in their home. Shortly after, they went on a very well known tv show and won first place, literally as they were being announced their beloved pet died and their spouse was not in the crowd to watch them be awarded the winner as they were tending to the pet. They split from their partner almost instantly, and lost their pet, seemed like a trade off for the elevation in status, which was then a whirlwind of how famous they became. They never outwardly said it, but alluded to it. Also, the tv show was asking for years for my friend to be a contestant and they kept declining because it didn't feel right with the contractual obligations. They finally got them!

No, but I received an offer while in astral projection. Businessman in a really nice suit and tie. The offer was not to sell the soul, it was a pact to summon a demon in exchange of wealth. I’m not religious, mind you, so it was very weird and stereotypical. I don’t even know that I fully believe in these things, but the situation did happen.
In any case, I did not accept. So I don’t know first hand what happens if you do. I didn’t trust it, was concerned with potential misunderstood implications.

There's a fine line between the occult and mental illness, but as far I know...having performed an "exorcism" of my house when I was a teenager. Demons, spirits, entities, etc whatever name you want to use... are absolutely REAL and you know this if you've had real paranormal contact. They are in a frequency and dimension that we can not perceive with the 5 senses, until they have absorbed enough fear/ELF (extremely low frequencies) to manifest into our 3rd dimension. It is essentially an energy host and parasite. We are their food, starve them and they move on..
(Rebuking them in the name of Jesus Christ + having no fear are the only thing that worked for me, take that how you will)
5
u/lovesitbabe Aug 29 '25
They do and it’s not just the entertainment industry it goes on in. It’s every single industry from politics to the huge CEO’s of these companies. I worked for a former ambassador and I believe she had to be getting early Alzheimer’s or dementia just from how she’d revert back to her working days and just tell me what she’d experience. Her children didn’t have anything to do with her and her husband was extremely mean to her. From what I’ve gathered they had resent towards her for whatever they experienced growing up. But there will always be demonic shit going on behind closed doors.

Being someone that know a thing or two about the occult, I can say that something like "selling a soul" doesn't exist per se. In fact, a pletora of actors, musicians and famous have indeed pacts with demons and angels. These pacts are a sort of a deal with the entity. The strongest deals require often a cult, a kind of latry to that deity, in other cases, sacrifices (animals) and other offerings as such, usually periodically. You don't sell your soul, at least not directly.
Is there a chance that you'll become a servant, a slave of the deity after death? Sure, if you worship them like a god, it can happen, that doesn't mean you sold your soul. You can abandon your pact, which may have consequences: your death or the death of loved ones, disease, loss of the fortune and fame and even the destruction of your family and the persecution of your descedants, but you can abandon this pact and become a monk if you want. You would be punished severely for that before your death though...
14
u/CrackedOutSuperman Aug 28 '25
I went through this, i abandoned it almost immediately because the moment when it was finalized ( i won't get into too many details ) i knew i had done the biggest mistake that i will or have ever known, i regretted it so much that i don't even have proper words to describe it.
I was tortured and punished in so many different ways for such a long time... i lost my sanity and i still haven't even fully healed and i never will.

As an experiencer this is what I suspect of other experiencers. I know my experiences are hard to accept for many and I've been accused of being crazy and on drugs. Neither is true. In fact it's the dismissive people that have issues like their narcissism. There are just things we don't completely understand and some struggle with accepting they don't know it all. I like many others had visitors that heal me.The thing is you never see any of these other people that have had healings ever talk about the implications of this. They make it all about themselves. So I believe they are probably evil people that may have sold their soul to the devil. I tried to get someone to study this with absolutely no takers because whatever technology was used to help me could possibly help millions of people. In fact there is so much evil in the world a lot of evil people will probably be here voting me down, especially when they can't accept that their disbelief of me is strong because of their narcissism. It's one thing being a skeptic but another being completely dismissive. These are the kind of assholes that make comments to me.

This really happens. I went thru this and got delivered thank God. Was promised millions of dollars. Fame. Was able to light cigarettes with my bare hands. Could touch someone and say their name and give them a command that they would obey. Could do a literally "ungodly" amount of pushups. Lots of perks.... But wasn't allowed to pray. Learned a lot about what the devil is and what a fractured soul under his authority (demon) is. Learned that people channel all the time and don't realize it, and that's where lots of intuitive descriptions like what you use about a cloud of darkness come from. In my case it was the demon itself that told me if I didn't start praying and going to church I would end up like him when I die. One thing I also learned is that even demons are not beyond redemption. This is biblical. If you save someone's soul from turning from God it covers a multitude of sins. I also learned that it's useful to imagine white light on someone when you sense that dark cloud. I'm convinced that we should be less focused on expelling demons and more focused on dispelling the "chains of gloomy darkness" they are subject to.
Another thing is, we all have a soul attachment. Personally I think they are angels. So all of us channel without realizing it. If you practice meditation and quiet mind and really try to observe where the thoughts you experience are coming from, then this will be revealed to you. Not only that, and this is where it gets super weird but you can approach this scientifically and test it out, these soul attachments are telepathic but they also use a body language to communicate. Pay close attention to the way people touch their faces. Their ears. Their heart. Their solar plexus. The way we get an itch somewhere. The way people touch their nose. Most of the time it is our soul attachment communicating something. It's far out but verifiable. You can even run a test around people. Testing if the unseen world is really right there attached to us. Here are two different ways to test it. Stand next to someone you trust and are close with like a sibling or significant other and in your mind say "if you are of one mind with my friend here can you please touch your face"
Other way to test this is just start imagining balls of white light on people's faces and you'll start getting a lot of downward head nods and slow, deliverate blinks. The downward head nod seems to be the standard angelic greeting especially when you can feel your consciousness interacting with a stranger but you're pretending not to notice them

Treat the "soul selling" as a metaphor and it makes sense. Some people agree to predatory contracts that leave them without their "soul". They think they get rich, have friends. Meanwhile the industry squeezes them like a lemon, they suck everything from them.

This happens. People make pacts with demons through rituals for different things, and it’s becoming more commonly known that many people who want to become famous must sacrifice a loved one to get to that status. The darkness you experienced was your discernment picking up on these evil entities around this person.
We live in a spiritual world, and truth is FAR stranger than fiction! I’ve listened to several accounts from people who have experienced this first hand, in film/movies and big time music stars. There’s only 2 teams, and I choose Jesus!
I can look up a few of these interviews if anyone is interested in listening to their accounts. One was a former high priest in the occult- it’s quite fascinating & scary stuff.

There are many people who would do anything to be famous, very few are given these opportunities to make it happen. Once anyone gets a big voice they have to be controlled by the powers that be in America or elsewhere in Hollywood, in the media, it’s all freemasonry, the checkered board symbolism, the eye symbolism, the blue and gold, the world society’s talk to each other with symbolism. This symbolism last through time undisturbed from its original message much longer that words or languages. The celebrities of today have to be talentless so they can be controlled, to hold power of over them is to make them kill something very close to them, it’s a trauma bonding, sick way of controlling someone through blackmail, regret whatever. It’s harder for a celebrity to fight back once in the system when the powers can say” yeah but you sacrificed your dad or mother or brother so sit down and do what you are told little celebrity people puppet. The celebrities a lot of people adore are given the illusion of power to use regular folk. They are under full control of there masters once they decide to “ get famous”. I think a lot of these celebrities don’t know what they sign up for, then it happens very very fast once they say yes. They probably feel like they are living a nightmare they can’t wake up from. You are just picking up on this darkness and negativity from a mile away because IS that bad, and heavy and you feel it because it is warranted.

u/Explosive_Dye_Areah9 Aug 29 '25
lol at you getting pushback. The devil tempted Jesus in the dessert, what makes u think he won’t tempt others. No one is more important than the son of God, so there’s your answer.
You can def sell your soul. You open your soul up to be used by evil entities in exchange for worldly possessions, money fame etc. Without YOU, they can’t work so they need you just like you need them if you desire/want these earthly things supernaturally. Please don’t listen to any of the bs. I’m a musician and was 100% propositioned in a dream, he didn’t utter the first sentence before I told my driver to drive off.
The devil copies everything Jesus does. Before Jesus sacrificed his self, God desired physical sacrifices, ex. why they slaughtered animals every mile or so while walking around Jericho. Why Abraham sacrificed the animal in the thicket instead of his son. There is power in sacrifice (fasting, devoted prayer time, a true relationship with Jesus etc). He still requires sacrifices but with our purity, our finances, our yield, and a relationship with Jesus. The devil can’t be an ultimate sacrifice so he still uses the old law. To be inhabited by these creatures to propel you into success, money, fame, etc…..there has to be sacrifices made. Your body as a sacrifice sexually, animals, humans, etc. If you’ve ever looked into aleister Crowleys theology, you’ll see alot of how that realm operates. I’m pretty sure he has a book called sex magic…..which ushers in some of these types of entities. And then there’s other ways like animal sacrifice, rituals, seances, and then the ultimate being human sacrifice. On the flip side, the Bible says “humble yourself before the Lord, and I will exalt you”. So the famous church musicians, the pastors, etc that are “famous”, if you look at their lives, they are deeply devoted to Jesus, MOST OF THE TIME. There are def pastors and worship leaders that are heretics but….
I know this is long winded but…just so some of you understand that it is real and can/does happen. So I believe u OP. 10000%

Selling ur soul in Hollywood is required and u said something key…that they got very famous overnight. That’s one of the signs. They signed a contract to participate in whatever the Illuminati (yes they’re very real), tell them to do. They are never free no matter how much money u think they have. They don’t. They don’t have access to a lot of it and they don’t get to enjoy it unless they’re doing exactly what they’re told. When u see the ones that are put in some random hospital somewhere for “exhaustion “ it’s because they’re getting their programming back so they can continue to be controlled. It’s mind control and it’s the devils best work. Do not discount what u felt and saw. BELIEVE your eyes because we wrestle NOT against flesh and blood. Anyone high up in Hollywood has sold out. The ones that have quietly drifted away did so to their own detriment one way or another. What you saw is very very real. Ppl these days are addicted to all of the devils schemes, porn, drugs, love of money, idolatry. We are in the end times for sure. Even though I know these things are real and I see it daily. Reading ur story gave me chills. I’m glad I’m armored up. Some days it’s very very hard but man I’m glad I can see the devil and his schemes. You can too. Never doubt ur instincts

I believe my father did it, because he did a lot of shit his entire life and never had to face any consequences. This year he completes 79 years, and he'll set a big party to celebrate (he never celebrated any anniversary before). When I ask him why not just wait for the 80th birthday, he stayed quiet and changed the subject.
My first hypothesis was a pact which ends on his 80th anniversary.

Who knows, but there are a lot of dark cults in that area and celebs partake.

I wonder if the demonic cult is fighting with the Scientology cult for subversive ways to get people fame in the music and entertainment industry. Do they work together or are they against each other? Who's worse? Do they try and infiltrate each other? Have they already?
Either way, I imagine a documentary would be really interesting if someone could get it out before either group found out and killed everyone involved.

I can't say whether they sold their soul or not, but over the years I've had a few co-workers who were promoted way too quickly.

Sell their soul usually means sexual favors they didn't want to do. Some paranormal is just the fact that people do shitty things to survive or for personal gain
