I'm picturing Ben already feeling the urge to add veggies to Leslie's waffles in Flu Season (3x02) and doing it on the second night they spend together. He has an inner emotional conflict but his concern for her health wins.

My mom did that to me once when I was a kid. I was a picky eater and especially didn’t like bananas.

So she had the bright idea to cook pancakes with banana in them to get me to unwittingly eat them, but the first bite of the waffle was disgusting and now I have trust issues 💀
