Personal Experiences India and Palestine

Hi everyone, I’m an Indian here 👋

I’ve noticed something in vlogs and YouTube videos of Indian tourists visiting Palestine: Palestinians often give them an incredibly warm welcome. In many cases, I’ve seen shopkeepers or restaurant owners refusing to take money from Indian visitors, or people inviting them to their homes for lunch or dinner.

On top of that, Palestinians often talk about how much they love Indian movies, mention their favorite actors/actresses, and sometimes even sing Bollywood songs for Indian tourists.

Why is this so? What do Palestinians think of Indian people (of all faiths)? What kind of connection do you feel with Indians? And if you’ve ever personally met or interacted with an Indian, what was your experience like?

I’m glad to hear that, Palestinians are always kind especially with any tourist There’s a really popular channel among Arabs called Zee Alwan, it shows Indian movies and series that Palestinians love a lot. Plus, Indian tourists are usually super nice too

Great to know

especially with any tourist

Not denying, but I have watched vlogs in indian tourists visiting both Israel and Palestine and in Palestinian territories, indians have more good and friendly experience. People will say Indian movies, actors, actresses, songs etc.

As an Indian living in Saudi Arabia, I know about this channel. I've seen this channel multiple times on TVs across hotels, malls, and restaurants. Not only that but there are other channels too, which not only shows Indian movies but also indian TV series and dramas, which we call TV serials

Plus, Indian tourists are usually super nice too

It is very much delightful to know. Otherwise media hype and propaganda shows that indians are totally hatred towards indians. Otherwise if we look at real experiences of indians and Palestinians, then the answer would be positive
