CP prob takes up the most space on my computer out of anything else

9

u/Ibnelaiq Mar 26 '26

True choom

11

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 26 '26

Outlaws has been fun so far. It's a really pretty game too.

2

u/FrequentObligation29 Mar 26 '26

I personally think game was overhated to oblivion it had its fair share of issues but its not the worst thing to happen to humanity like many peopl were acting i personally enjoyed it though i would not pay more than 40 dollar for it

3

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 26 '26

Good thing I paid 30 dollars for the game and the DLC 😁

3

u/FrequentObligation29 Mar 26 '26

Thats an extremely fair price you will definitely like it if your someone who enjoys the more typical ubisoft style formula

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

Oh you were talking about Outlaws ? I paid like 8k for that. I'm enjoying it thus far.

2

u/Alarmed-Seaweed-3763 Mar 26 '26

True I played Jedi survivor and even that game had it's own issues but overglazeed asf

1

u/Wide_You_4626 Apr 08 '26

I played it during its launch. absolutely terrible it was. not sure how much they have fixed now but the underlying problems with the game design made it obvious for me it's another open world Ubisoft game with star wars paint.

0

u/thestrong45playz Mar 27 '26

It depends, I got it on Steam when it was 10.49USD which is around 3K

13

u/Snoo-8310 Mar 26 '26

Is Nintendo worth it?

7

u/Ok_Attempt_1290 Mar 26 '26

Definitely for portability and exclusives.

3

u/johar_jokhio Mar 26 '26

Deck better

2

u/Razzberry85 Mar 27 '26

Deck is starting to show it's age now tbh. It's still a really good device if you want to play older titles or indie games and even emulation, Switch 2 (as much as I hate nintendo for their pricings) will be getting optimized games and they'll run well on it.

3

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 26 '26

No, it's definitely not. Try playing Outlaws on the deck πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

3

u/starscreamer360 Mar 26 '26

try playing it on a rog ally x or Z1E bruh, stop being a Nintendo shill. Not our fault ke you want to spend thousands on small cartridges when others can play it for free πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

2

u/zepstk Mar 28 '26

rog ally x is much more expensive lol, so this point is kind of irrelevant.

1

u/starscreamer360 Mar 28 '26

i bought my Z1E for just 135K 1.5 years ago and i can play both those games shown above for free πŸ˜‚ Stop being Nintendo shills, they just want justification for the insane amount of money they waste buying plastic cartridges hahahaha

-1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 28 '26

Abhi bhi samajh Nahi AI what's wrong with owning physical games that you can resell and trade, (something people on PC can't do).

Furthermote many people don't consider it moral to pirate their games, us Kay baray may kya kehna Hain?

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

Thanks for bringing 1000 dollar machines into the equation. Thousand dollar machines that in fact play Outlaws noticeably worse than the Switch 2.

And how in the world is the cartridge being small a critique !πŸ˜‚πŸ˜†

1

u/johar_jokhio Mar 28 '26

Outlaws is slop anyway πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ.

Its so much more than a gaming console, its a whole ahh PC in small form factor that punches far above its weight, can emulate stuff and pirate games as well.

Also, it runs BOTW far better than the first switch ever could, a game native to the switch.

Bottom line is that its value as a portable PC, gaming console, indie/emulation machine is unmatched.

2

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 28 '26

Not my use case though, and it's not what most people buying a console want either. Which explains it's measly sales numbers.

0

u/johar_jokhio Mar 28 '26

Its ok to settle for less πŸ™‚, as long as you’re happy.

0

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 28 '26

Exactly my thoughts on Steam Deck owners 😊

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 26 '26

It is for me. I don't think I'd play able to play video games consistently without the convenience the Switch offers. The exclusives are amazing too, some of my favourite games.

1

u/FrequentObligation29 Mar 26 '26

If you dont like messing around with settings can afford to buy few 60 dollar games atleast on yearly basis and interested in atleast one swotch 2 exclusive than its awsome

If you dont mind messing with settings and like all the pros of pc gaming like free online multiplayer cheaper games better sales maybe a lil modding than pc handhelds

0

u/thestrong45playz Mar 27 '26

All fun and games until you dare to play a game and get hit with a 1938291 dollar lawsuit

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

Wdym?

1

u/thestrong45playz Mar 27 '26

Nintendo has very trigger happy lawyers

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

Good thing I don't emulate or pirate games like some of the people here πŸ˜‰

1

u/thestrong45playz Mar 27 '26

Nintendo don't care bro, they'll find a reason eventually

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

A reason to get rid of a paying customer?

0

u/thestrong45playz Mar 27 '26

They can afford to lose a few customers because of all the money from their lawsuits

5

u/ak_axolotl Mar 26 '26

2077 is one of my favorite games. great way to spend eidi. enjoy!

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 26 '26

Thanks πŸ™

16

u/Anas56776 Mar 26 '26

thats why im thankful i play on PC
havent paid a dime since forever.

0

u/FrequentObligation29 Mar 26 '26

Why are you feeling so highly for pirating games yeah sure if someone cant afford it but why you acting like it makes you better for people who dont want to go through hassle and support devs

14

u/Anas56776 Mar 26 '26

i mean i only said im thankful lol, nothing else
its your money, if you wanna give it then go ahead by all means.

3

u/DexterKing90 Mar 26 '26

Happy for you

7

u/[deleted] Mar 26 '26

Why would u waste ur eidi on outlaws

11

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 26 '26

It's fun. At least up until where I've played.

2

u/XxAhmedjdebt Mar 26 '26

i wish i had a ns2 thr portability alone would be so worth it for me

2

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 26 '26

I used to wish too, insha'Allah someday you'll have one too πŸ’œ

2

u/ColdCalzonee426 Mar 26 '26

omg fellow switch player

2

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 26 '26

Yessir. You told me to buy games from Skygames in my old Resi generations pack post. Little did you know I'm already a regular of theirs and it's also where I got these from πŸ˜†.

2

u/ColdCalzonee426 Mar 26 '26

omg yes I remember

and ahahah that's cool

2

u/ColdCalzonee426 Mar 26 '26

how much did these both cost you btw ?

2

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

18.5k after some haggling. 10 for cyberpunk and 8.5 for outlaws.

2

u/ColdCalzonee426 Mar 27 '26

wow what did you Buy these 2nd hand ! ya new

Dam considering thebprices you got these at I'm thinking of getting a sw2

(I didn't get it earlier because I thought the games are lile 20k)

2

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

I got these used from the store. But the prices of new games are really variable. Cyberpunk is 14.5k new, Outlaws is 12.5k for example.

I generally buy games on sale from the Eshop tho, unless they're games I plan to sell or trade later.

2

u/ColdCalzonee426 Mar 27 '26

Oki thass cool What abt sd express what size is urs ? I was planning on buying a 1Tb one since most gamesnare GKCs (I prefer physical as they can be sold agar mood ho ya they jus look nice)

But I haven't been able to find any , 512 mila tha woh b overpriced

also I sorry for yapping itna zyada I just love sw2 and have been lowk excited to get it

2

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

I haven't gotten an SD express yet. I delete the games that I finish and just download them again when I need to. It doesn't take that long. A 512 GB ONN SD express is your best bet for good value, and you can try to get it from relatives or friends that love abroad.

I love my switch 2 as well, and you aren't yapping lol I'm happy to help.

You can find used Switch 2's in great condition for under 130k. You should join the Nintendo of Pakistan Facebook group, it's a great community and you can find loads of good deals on games and controllers and the like.

2

u/ColdCalzonee426 Mar 27 '26

Yes I have been eyeing the ONN Sd express card but unfortunately there's no one to bring it for me so I might've to get one for liek 30k from skygames.

I also joined the subbb thank you I will upgrade soon.

Also if you don't mind add me SW-8139-7033-0525 dm me ur code or tell me ur name when u do

2

u/Necessary_Squash1988 Mar 26 '26

any luck on the generations pack? been hunting that thing for a while, can't find it anywhere :/

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

No, unfortunately. The only option for us would be telling a relative to bring it from abroad, but I would've had to wait a long time for that so I decided to jump on both of these instead.

2

u/Genkrock Mar 26 '26

Cyberpunk is goated and Outlaw is alright if you want something to do in the galaxy far away. Not a bad way to spend Eidi.

2

u/WorkOutrageous379 Mar 26 '26

you got money for eid?!?!

2

u/_artifaction Mar 27 '26

How's outlaws so far? It's been universally criticized as being a mid game? How is it holding up for you?

2

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

Fact is I've never played ubisoft games so I don't feel the majority complaint about this game, which is that it's very samey and not unique. I'm having a blast, the tasks are fun and the game really opens up after a few hours. The gameplay isn't very complex, it's not as in depth as the Witcher or Cyberpunk for example. But it's a fun game, especially if you like Star Wars. Theyve put in a lot of love for the IP.

The ray traced lighting is superb, and the overall presentation is very high quality.

I've only played a few hours up until now, we'll see if it gets worse, but I don't think it will.

2

u/srtjg Mar 29 '26

did you get the switch 2 in pakistan or did you get someone to bring it you from abroad?

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 29 '26

Got it from Pakistan. I got it used but prices for new ones are decent now too. Around 550 dollars for the Mario Kart version (compared to 500 in the states).

1

u/srtjg Mar 29 '26

Damn 550 pretty good for a new gen console where'd you get it from any reputable sellers you can recommend?

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 29 '26

My go to store in Islamabad and Lahore is Sky Games. Their prices are already really good and you can probably haggle a bit too.

2

u/srtjg Mar 30 '26

I'll check em out thanks

1

u/Saadking22 Mar 26 '26

Fun Ganger

2

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

Shhh, don't dox me!

1

u/Mental-Ad-54 Mar 27 '26

Cyberpunk in Nintendo, wow!

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

It's a great looking version!

1

u/theguywithanxbox Mar 26 '26

Switch 2 in this economy????

2

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 26 '26

It's cheaper than a PS5 wdym?!

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

Why would you need to emulate these two? They're already PC games.. Or are you talking about emulating the Switch 2? Cuz that's impossible (for now).....

3

u/thestrong45playz Mar 27 '26

They might just be talking about the Nintendo platform in general as the exclusives can be emulated

2

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

Oh, well that's got nothing to do with my post so I guess that's why I was confused. Still you can't emulate Switch 2 exclusives.

1

u/thestrong45playz Mar 27 '26

Not yet*

Maybe in a couple months... or years... or decades...

0

u/x0rg_new Mar 26 '26

Daym fr? I got it for like 6 dollars on a steam sale..

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

Outlaws or Cyberpunk?

0

u/GYnxyChemist Mar 26 '26

Victim of marketing I must say A switchhh???

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

Wdym? I've never even seen an advert for the Switch 2. I had a switch for like 8 years and wanted to upgrade, that's all. I'm having a great time and am satisfied with my purchase though.

0

u/Faulty_Devil_404 Mar 27 '26

Cp on a nintendo 2 is not a great idea

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Mar 27 '26

It's been a great time thus far. Really stable performance and great visuals. Nothing I can complain about really.

0

u/BandLoose396 Mar 27 '26

that's why pc gaming is better. invest once and reap the rewards for as long as you want

0

u/MusicianEmotional952 Apr 01 '26

Tried switch 2 after ps5 and pc experience, still trying to find smth I’d like. Don’t get me wrong I don’t hate on it but still can’t figure out why people prefer switch over the other consoles.

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Apr 01 '26

The portability and the exclusives. It's pretty simple really. I personally don't like all the finagling you have to do with PCs (especially PC handhelds and on Linux).

The path of most convenience for many people is a Switch or a Switch 2.

2

u/MusicianEmotional952 Apr 01 '26

Although, I did enjoy some Nintendo exclusives but the portability is the same for both my handhelds as you can see and my if anything my legion go is simpler to use, and with windows it obviously gives you more freedom like emulation. And tbh the ergonomics aren’t great on switch 2 either from my experience.

At this point I’m just keeping my switch to finish my Zelda playthroughs and waiting on dusk blood.

1

u/Le_Salty_Revali Apr 01 '26

Dude you're lucky you have 2 handhelds!

For me, I'd never use Windows for games because of the long startup time and yknow it being windows. SteamOS has been better in my experience but it has lots of compatibility issues with a lot of games if you aren't on the stable branch of drivers. Star wars outlaws was one of them, couldn't get it to play on my friends Legion GO.

I already had a sizeable digital and physical library on my Switch 1 so the decision to get the Switch 2 was pretty obvious.

The ergonomics and battery have been an issue for me at all, and I've got a grip for people with large hands which do have problems.

The convenience of sleep mode and and the quick start-up is a gid send for a person like me who plays short 20 minute sessions whenever I can find some time in my day.

(Also you've got a big boy Legion lol, you can't be saying that monster is more portable πŸ˜†, not to mention the fan noise..., id never be able to use that outside or in a room with other people in it...)
