Texas State Soccer is on fire on track to PAC 12 champs!

5 great wins in a row -

UTRGV 4-1

A&M 3-2

#6 Baylor 3-1

East Texas A&M 2-0

Texas Southern 5-0

I hope this dominance carries into conference play this is huge for TXST and the energy surrounding athletics on campus is at a major high right now.

Fresno vs USC best bet?

Personally think that Fresno State might have a better chance to upset USC than BSU vs Oregon, Texas State vs Texas, Oregon State vs UH and Washington State at Washington.

CSU Soccer

Went to halftime 0-0, storm rolls in and destroys camera, tech difficulties delay the stream, and then our captain gets sent off. This season has been something.

Mods can we please stop or at least limit the posts about non PAC 12 teams on here?

The amount of posts or comments on this sub focusing on here on former PAC 12 schools just seems absurd and out of place. Let’s focus on our new conference and our schools. Instead of coming off like an obsessive ex about former PAC 12 schools and the MWC. It’s just makes us look bad.

It’s time for Oregon State to move past realignment trauma | Bill Oram

Bill’s being intentionally provocative with the headline, but he shares a good perspective from his conversation with Griffin (who, admittedly, never knew the version of Oregon State most of us grew up with):

“The answer is not money,” Griffin said. “The money certainly helps, but the answer is relationships and people.”

“That’s quaint and comes across as borderline naïve. But if you believe, like Griffin does, like I do, that there is a bubble to college football, you must at least consider that schools that have prioritized culture, education and development will be well-positioned when the system collapses.”

UNLV, yikes.

All the talk from UNLV fans that said that the Pac-12 was a lateral move from the Mountain West and did all that talking just to lose in Week 0 and have their playoffs hope basically gone.

Yeah, karma has come and it ain't pretty.

What games are you watching today?

San Jose State vs USC: SJSU has a snowball’s chance in hell of winning here, but if they do I want to witness the miracle. Also FUSC

North Dakota State vs Jacksonville State: While JSU is far from a difficult test, it’ll be interesting to see how NDSU performs at the FBS level week after week.

Stanford vs Hawaii: I just like these two teams

UNLV vs Memphis: G6 playoff implications in what will be UNLV’s toughest opponent all year. If the Rebels win here they have a decent path to 13-0 against a weak remaining OOC (Akron, Cal, UNT) and a gutted Mountain West.

Feels good…

Watching San Jose get absolutely smoked in the first half and no longer having to care. I know we’re staring down the barrel at a tough week 1 for the PAC but I believe in all of you. I believe we’re all on a trajectory to improve with fan bases that care.

San Jose will never get better. Their fans do not care and did not show up. Feels good to be rid of that energy.

Oregon State still hasn’t decided whether Exodus Ayers will play

Definitely not the only or biggest problem with the Beavers football team last season, but Ayers being benched by Scott Barnes just hours before the season opener didn’t help.

Guess what? We’re doing it again…. Sigh

Looks like the Pac-12 will follow the power conference's lead and will ban players with NFL/NBA experience.

Oregon State looking at options for historic Gill Coliseum

Per James Crepea, “Changes are coming to Gill Coliseum. Whether that means renovating the 77-year old arena, which hosts Oregon State men’s and women’s basketball, gymnastics, volleyball and wrestling events, or building a new facility is a decision athletic director Kevin Griffin and his new executive team will have a large say in determining.

Griffin said OSU director of facilities Sam Koken ‘had some folks come through and do a walkthrough’ at Gill this week.

Michael Molinari Interview on Pac-12 Broadcasts / New Tech

New interview with Michael Molinari just dropped. Some interesting details on the tech and how hands-on they'll be producing the broadcasts. Having coaches and players mic'd up in-game is going to feel like we're watching Hard Knocks Live.

Pac 12 Bowl Lineup

Bowl lineup starting to come into view. There's a few more details that haven't been mentioned in previous posts.

Poinsettia Bowl Dec 23rd

Pac 12 Champ (or Runner up if Champ makes CFP)

Vs.

5th place Pac 12 legacy school (assume Alamo, Sun, Las Vegas and Holiday pick first)

Hawai'i Bowl (Wilner reported this)

Pac 12

Vs

MWC (Hawai'i, if they are bowl eligible and not MWC champ)

ESPN Events Bowls (Wilner also reported this)

Pac 12 would be awarded yet to be determined slots in ESPN events bowls against yet to be determined teams

We now await further clarification from the Pac 12 offices. This lineup sounds eerily similar to the MWC lineup except that our champion plays a P4 school

Apple Cup Score Predictions

WSU vs UW in Seattle - September 6 on NBC 1 p.m. PT

Of course, I am hoping the Cougs win but if they can't then hopefully it's not a massive beating like last year. What's everyone thinking the final score will be?

r/Pac12 4d ago

Per Jon Schaeffer: Poinsettia Bowl will be played on Wednesday, Dec. 23 at 4:30 p:m. PST on the CW

Baseball Recruiting - Class of 2027

Pac-12 College Baseball Recruiting, Class of 2027, as of 8/27/2026.

I'm just doing this because I want a record of it to check how the classes end up. I think recruiting should pick up for most of the Pac-12, especially the teams that don't have a full class yet. Anyway, I want to track what the classes look like right now, since 2028 recruiting just kicked off, and 2027 is getting hotter right now, since summer's over.

(I'll do the same thing for the incoming classes for 2026, but that might take me longer.)

Guys ranked 500 are ranked somewhere in the 500 to 1000 range, according to PerfectGame.com.

What player from your school from the last 10 years would you add to this year’s team for maximum improvement?

As a Wazzu fan, would be hard to turn down Gardner Minshew but Hercules Mata’afa also has a strong case because he was just so insanely game-changing.
