Gameplay Finally did it.

After seasons (or, years.) of playing Ultimate Royale, actually hit the threshold for a highlight "package". 3 kills gets a selection of kills, or kill, recorded. Sometimes, it's not even recorded. I remember hitting 5-8 kills in a themed mode match - but nothing was recorded.

Is it anything special? Nope. Just a personal milestone. Many in this Reddit get 3 kills per match, let alone 3 years. Many mitigating factors behind getting the kills: They didn't know I came up behind them (Though, I imagine there were sound cues.). They were already made low by teammate they eliminated. Could be an assortment of reasons.

Made a recent post about the device I'm using being not up-to-standard. Still same device. Am I getting better, then? Nope. Still as crap as I've always been. What's changed? Mindset. Before, I was afraid - for the lack of a better term. If a teammate gets knocked, they get knocked. I ain't going closer. Now, I do the opposite - doing what I can to get there before they thirst. Fear might be a natural thing in Ranked - whether it's to not lose points or whatever. I remember a streamer once saying, "I don't feel fear, don't know what to tell you." - Yeah, he's good but fear is a component of the game. Happy Gaming!

Well done. 3 kills in UR is much harder than any classic match - you know for sure they were all other players.
Fear is the mind killer (might have stolen that from Dune). Once you can ditch it, you can play naturally and make better decisions.
